bring back skill based match making in pvp
so the good players dont want skill based because then they would have to play equally good players and not get to destroy us noobs its very unfair when skill based was on i could get 30 kills now i am lucky to kill 5 its wrong why dont you just break them up in too two groups that would be easier and as for trials how about skill based their too i would like to play but im not good enough about time you did something i bet you dont even read this and no way to contact you

I like fast queue times. I like good connection. Please keep cbmm it’s much better for casual modes. I can’t have fun without short queues and good connection. If I want to have fun I’m playing 6v6 control or clash if I want to try and test myself I’ll play modes like survival and elimination. What’s wrong with this system

clearly you dont understand SBMM, that it only helps the below Average players and hurts the average players and up. SBMM needs to stay in Comp, and only....Comp. Trials under the SBMM is a bad idea.

2 RepliesCurrently the pvp player base is very low to be able to implement this change, I can also say that a large number of players use vpn or modified Kuda-type routers to search for games in which many players have a very low KD, so being like this Bungie has no intention of modifying that, I can also tell you that they have 0 commitment to pvp due to their new ip

If anything they need to work on their team balance algorithm, or just release freelance PvP already. It's not fun being on a team of randoms only to get utterly pub stomped by full teams for several games in a row. What ever system they had before the release of Beyond Light should come back.

I think it’s pretty clear that even if you implemented SBMM the load times would be a lot slower and I even remember still matching with blueberries. Either way you can’t fix your problem, all of you can’t fix it bc when something doesn’t go your way you just whine about it, also how can this many ppl be so garbage at pvp? It’s literally not that hard no matter what loadout your using. Literally just put a couple hours into and your fine instead of using jotunn and getting some bounties done for a couple minutes. Also this is the problem with trials, it’s not the “SBMM” or “cbmm” or the “cheese loadouts” like bastion, it’s the player population. If Bungie can give more players a reason to give pvp a shot then guess what, there are more players these scrubs and b#tch to. Maybe hold your pity party till next season. 1 ReplyI've been told that I'm not a skilled PvP player and I don't care either way, if you force me, I'd choose cbmm, I'd rather not have lag. I don't really notice any difference between cbmm and sbmm. I still win my share of games and kill my share of guardians. I have over 4600+ PvP games played, mostly solo queue, 51% win percentage too.

The meta spamming tryhards will make sure you're not alive long enough to learn anything. The peer to peer connection makes sure your accuracy is 100% rng. And the rewards are definitely not worth the effort. I loathe PvP in any game so maybe I'm biased but Bungie is doing absolutely nothing to incentivize the average player to jump into a game mode with a forced 50/50 win loss and a guarantee that the top 2 players on each team will account for more than half the kills. Why? Why would the average player throw themselves into this meat grinder, knowing there's little chance they'll go positive and they'll receive little compensation for their time? Why? Do yourself a favor. If you're average/below average........Walk away from PvP. Let the tryhards have their meta circle jerk and show Bungie their PvP isn't worth playing.

60 Replies*sigh* Wanting your handheld in crucible just sad. I’ll keep it simple though. SBMM punishes good players for being good. Rewarding them sweatier matches for the same rewards just for not being bad. SBMM without better players getting better/more shit… does not work…
