1 ReplyEdited by DarkMoonWolf666: 7/5/2021 6:40:23 PMThey are underused because you can't spam them They are really good but people's prefer the ease of use If something it need a nerf because of that ridiculous swap to eriannas BS in pvp

11 RepliesBows in D2 are OP considering they've been obsolete in combat for over a century. Nerf bows
-
Edited by XxSkull FistxX: 7/7/2021 5:09:40 PMI prefer pulse rifles so pulse rifles should get a buff that makes the most powerful weapon class in the game and everyone should be forced to use them unless they want to lose every encounter.
-
Aim Assist feels much lower than what it used to be
-
7 Repliesas said on the firing range dev interview, bows are in the place where if they get a buff they will be overpowered, and if they get a nerf they will be underpowered. They are in a good place rn, not enough people know how to use them.
-
A pve bow buff would be nice but bows are kinda in the same role as scouts but I wouldn't mind a buff
-
8 RepliesThey should all have Vorpal as an intrinsic perk
-
Probably with those high impact auto buffs.

8 RepliesI’m loving trinity ghoul right now
-
For PvE right?

2 RepliesLast season when they buffed damage vs red bars. In pve they are good in high difficulty content like GMs or legend lost sectors when the artifact has an anti champion bow mod.
-
1 ReplyWhat more do u want they can essentially one shot with that instant switch handcannon cheese Le monarch can one shot in wells
-
And here come the PvP crowd with why you are wrong
-
1 ReplyBows are fine… except in PvE a crit should be a kill on a red bar enemy.

Look guys, bows maybe fine for standard Destiny content and basic-level raids, but can you honestly say its your first choice when heading into a GM Nightfall? (PC Perspective) With the exception of the arc exotic bow, they are both too slow to sweep Adds and fail to do enough DPS on big enemies to warrant continuous use. There's currently nothing a legendary bow can do that I couldn't do better with a scout or a hand cannon. So yes, I would recommend an minor improvement. First, accuracy or draw speed needs to be improved across the board. You can't reliably hit crits without full pulls and they don't do enough damage without a full. Increasing the draw speed would ensure you can hit crits fast enough without intruding on HC territory. Next is definitely damage. To be blunt... they're low DPS. With a bow, with how slow they fire, I need to be able to take out a single minor red bar with one shot. Currently, no available bow has that potential. Yes, I love using bows and I understand why people are so attracted to them, but at high skill play there is simply a better option in every regard. Maybe on console its a different story, I don't know...

I think they could increase damage a little without breaking them. Just a pve damage increase but the exotics should be treated separately since they are quite good. Need a catalyst for le Monarch though and maybe wishender
-
What they NEED, is to have stability perks removed.
-
Wishender: ITS BEEN 2 1/2 YEARS

12 RepliesAs a bow main, shut up
-
2 RepliesWhy? Bows are fine. They don't need buff. Learn how to play and get better. Leave the bows alone.
-
2 RepliesBows are the most balanced thing in d2
-
I think giving bows new perks could be all they need.

Edited by JackTheRipperRoo : 7/5/2021 4:14:13 PMBow was good last season because of overload mod

Bows are in a fine spot from a balance perspective, what they need is more variety and a few more perks. The last time we got an Energy Precision Frame Bow was Point of the Stag, in Season of the Worthy. The last time we got one of them with random rolls was Subtle Calamity from Forsaken. I'd like to see an Accuracy buff for Lightweight Frame bows, as I find them to be really inconsistent, but that's the only stat change that I think is needed. For perks, I think that Sympathetic Arsenal should be moved to the first column of traits and that Archer's Gambit should make a return - we've seen it with Reservoir Burst revitalising Fusion Rifles; as far as Pinnacle Weapon perks go, Archer's Gambit did nothing wrong.
-
The last thing they need is a buff

bows are perfect do not touch them learn how to use one
