Say NO to the Anarchy Nerf
Who is even complaining about Anarchy being too good? Who was complaining about Lament being too good?
Is Witherhoard going to be next? Everyone should say no to these PvE Nerfs because they are not the solution. This Nerf will not magically make other Exotics better. It may even just force you to play something you don´t wanna play.
Bungie, you need to learn. We use weapons that are fun to use and that are strong. If you want us to have more viable options for Endame PvE then work on the other Exotics and figure out why we are not using them. Some of the Exotics do not have enough Ammo, some are unreliable and not rewarding, some are just no fun.

Edit 2: I am not against Nerfs if a weapon is truly overpowered. Anarchy is just a good Exotic. I only see a problem in Raids where double Slugs + Anarchy rule the Meta. That could be fixed by only allowing 1 Special in combination with Anarchy.

Bungie can't win when make adjustments apparently. PvP players complain about nerfs that impact them, and PvE players complain about nerfs that impact them. Just suck it up and find a new strategy. It was way too easy to use Anarchy.

1 ReplyExcept Anarchy isn't fun to use, it's easy to use. Sure, you can find amusement in making shapes and seeing what a grenade will stick to, but when I'm doing damage at Atheon, I'm not picking Anarchy because it's fun, I'm picking it because it lets me do passive damage while also doing active damage. It's literally fire and forget. I don't have to worry about missing a shot like I did with Izanagi, Sleeper or Whisper, and I don't have to worry about blowing myself up. I can do damage with a Super while doing damage with Anarchy or I can switch to a special weapon and get insane damage. If Anarchy wasn't easy mode we wouldn't use it.

2 RepliesIf I had to guess, Anarchy will either 1) not be able to stick to targets OR 2) do some percentage less of damage But I think it will definitely see a significant ammo reserve decrease. The fact you can have 26 shots of Anarchy and only need 2 for significant damage is what is very out of balance in my eyes. You almost never run out of ammo for that gun

People around these forums acting like it's not divinity and double slug doing 80% of Taniks damage are people lying or too ignorant to know what's going on to drive narratives. "look at Templar" Templar has a limitless damage phase. "what about Atheon?" Grenades and null composure are the damage meta. Anarchy is just there for a little extra. Warlock fusion grenades for like 200k damage or something wild. I can out DPS 6 Anarchy with just my fusion grenades and Starfire Protocol, no weapons. " I can't do GMs without it!" Blinding nades and Deathbringer seem like they're working just fine. Get gud, or maybe you should've bought the God roll truth teller from banshee. I've done GMs without Anarchy and it's fine. People need to get a grip. Been reading too much Buzzfeed and Tumblr and rotting their brains. It doesn't need a nerf, we were one phasing non moving bosses with absurdly long damage phases before Anarchy and we'll do it after Anarchy. In fact, the boss we used to beat to get Anarchy was easily one phased by 3 different weapons and none of them were Anarchy. Nothing will change, which means the nerf is meaningless.

15 RepliesPvE needs to be balanced just as much as PvP. Just because you can't understand a basic sandbox doesn't mean Bungie doesn't, and Anarchy is not the bar for exotics. Look at templar and Taniks to see how easy it makes those fights. For how easy two clicks from anarchy are to use, you get so much free damage. There's a lot of good damage in this meta, deathbringer, izanagi's, slug shotguns, legendary rockets... to act like Anarchy is the only good weapon is to show how little you know about D2.

Facts. The problem is most exotics are actually terrible and never worth using. Exotics should all be great weapons and they’re so not even close to that.

Anarchy has been the best heavy and one of the best exotics in the game for nearly 3 years. Just use something else, like sleeper which is about to be buffed

Had to happen sooner or later ! It’s the most used heavy in GM, it’s a work horse . I still don’t have it and I’m currently trying to farm spoils to get it. Hopefully Bungie won’t render it useless 🤷🏼♂️
