Sprint cancel/block problem ps4
Hi guardians,
For a few weeks I have trouble with sprinting. Everytime I press L3 the sprint animation will immediately cancel and does it over and over again which means I am unable to use the sprint option. Sometimes the issue goes away but then it does return.
I have tried setting up custom button layout for the sprint option but it didnt fix anything. Only thing I could think of is use the press L3 option but dont want to injure my thumb muscles as it is hard on the thumbs to constantly press the L3 button to sprint.
I was thinking to completely delete the game and redownload it. This issue is starting to get game breaking for me as it is very, VERY frustrating and crucible is not playable with this issue.
Does anyone know about this problem and knows a fix? It would be highly appreciated!

More often than not, the sprint cancel is a hardware issue. Similar to drift, the solution is to open the controller up and squirt some contact cleaner into the thumbstick mechanism. I have resurrected endless amounts for DualShocks using contact cleaner. To rule out if it is hardware, if you have not already, play with another controller for an extended amount of time to see if it still happens.
