QuickDraw nerf just made people never put away their shotguns. And with the ridiculous amount of special ammo, they never have to.

Are you new to destiny?? This has been going on for years. Your going to hear a lot of people saying “I counter shotguns with x weapon” or “just git gud” etc…but the FACT is Hand cannons and shotguns are the 2 most used weapons in crucible.

That's why I say the the Crucible is a one trick pony. The majority of maps favor one style of play and that's it. It all heavily favors hand cannons and shotguns. It's just dull and un-imaginative, which is what Bungie excels at.

1 ReplyThat's literally all Crucible has become. Nerds and betas running around with their small "power fantasy" thinking they are some kind of PvP Gods. It's really started to get under my skin because that is ALL I see. Just 6 other players with shotguns just circle jerking. This game is a joke and Bungie is at fault.

Bunjie dont care...hell nothing in this game is skill based. Im sick of folks acting like this is some AAA comp shooter...its a console game ported to pc filled with cheaters and recov companies and its free. Aim assist Bullet magnetism Supers No matchmaking No ranking system No division between pve and pvp...half this shit shouldnt be in pvp One hit kill all weapons or might as well be as 9 res barely can take 2 hits from a 120 This game a fing joke and they care crap cor our opinions. Remeber renewed pvp focus??? Lol that lie didnt even get us 1 new map...remember we cant release trials half baked? Lmfao they never had the right ingredients to even start baking in the first place. This is the same if 5 dudes on a corner were standing around and said hey lets make a game and con all the masses out of some money on false promises and bullsht They are clueless and dont care...piss poor gaming company at best

Give us a forced double primary and locked tier 1 ability/super playlist. Then it'll be the only thing i play in crucible.

2 RepliesThey just need to disable scavenger (especially double scav) mods in pvp, and implement only getting special ammo drops from primary weapon kills. That is all. Fixed. For all special weapons. You need to earn a special kill by getting a primary kill.

12 RepliesThe problem isn't, and has never been, specifically shotguns. The problem is special ammo economy. They solved that back in D2 vanilla, but people complained about that, too. There is literally no way for Bungie win on this one. I get just as tired of shotgun apes as anyone else, but I know allowing their existence means there is a game to play at all. Without their mindlessness, this game would have withered and died ages ago. Suck it up, adopt strats and playstyles that punish shotgun apes, and then thank them for their support.... or, y'know, move on to another game.

Shotgun one hit kill range needs to be at halo range. Boom shotgun balance is that easy

Apparently there’s ppl running around with their Huds off too. This game Literally tells you where ppl are. When they’re getting close. The Radar in this game is OP. Learn how to use it.

5 RepliesShotguns not the problem. Just part of the the meta you hate. Trust me if everyone had an adept messenger with desperado. You’d be complaining how that’s all anyone runs around with. Shotguns take skill to use at the higher levels as coming across a really good sniper can pretty nullify you load out just as the messenger does above.
