Got beagle error error while in orbit awaiting strike matchmaking. When loading back into the game, I had a message saying server error, unreadable game content and a full D2 re-install is required. Seven hours man. This has happened to several clan mates too and loads of players on the Facebook forum. Why is this not in the list of issues being investigated?

1 ReplyExperienced this multiple times on my PS5. Fully re-installed at least twice (using ~90 GB of bandwidth each time). Posted multiple threads in here and one on Reddit about it (along with many others, as I found). Finally said screw it and picked up an external drive (SSD). Moving the game to the drive (away from the PS5) and then back from it (back to the PS5) seems to resolve the issue when it now shows its ugly head. We certainly shouldn't be expected to purchase external drives or utilize any workaround for an extended period of time to fix something that is quite literally broken. However, given the lack of updates on this, figured I would share what worked for me. Hope this helps.

2 RepliesCrashed again, this is the 9ths time for me…

Welcome to the club . I’ve had this 11 times in 4 weeks . The only effective way to deal with it is to transfer the game to an external hard drive when it crashes then transfer it back to the ps5. The process takes maybe 30 mins rather than 4 hours to fully download . However it will cost you $100 dollars or so if you don’t have the external storage .

It's going to be ironic when the death of Destiny 2 is caused by a breed of dog. Well at least they are adorable.

At least bungie answered me in my tread 😳

4 RepliesBungie are aware, but too busy with fashion shows and selling overpriced toasters.

Its happened to me 3 times so far but one of my clanmates just had his 11th one this week. Its pretty annoying but what's worse is no fix announced yet. Seems like as soon as Bungie enabled cross play. The video I posted is from my second Beagle but it does the exact same thing every time. My game jammed up on me while matching into playlist strikes.

On my fourth beagle error in the last week. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Now playing the PS4 version cause I am tired of this… needs to be fixed ASAP

3 Repliesjust got my ps5. will not be playing d2 on for fear of hardware damage.

16 RepliesUntil they get a fix for it you can move it over to an external drive and then move it back. They are aware of it and have mentioned it already. That is their recommendation for a temp fix until they come up with something proper.
