Legendary lost sectors are an unrewarding end-game activity
Pretty much what the title says.
Can we at least get some rewards (even if it's just a guaranteed 'legendary' grade armor piece if you don't roll an exotic) for completing legend lost sectors? It just doesn't make sense doing this end game activity (even if it's just for grinding an exotic) if at the end of it you're just walking away with 3 lousy Wishing Pieces (or nothing at all, even)

Yes. Lost sectors beat the hell out of some RNG grind fest bullshit to get a drop. I know I’m going to get an exotic after a few runs.

Don't give up. Every Exotic I went after, I got. The Cuirass and Mask of Bakris are worth the time. ALWAYS do Perdition on Legend Level, the easiest IMO.

11 RepliesEdited by Grey Death Storm: 6/20/2021 12:10:42 PMI hate Legendary lost sectors I do not have the a patience for it and the champions are two much on your own to deal with specially when there's 2 different variants (Yes I do use Champion Mods) and you dont have the perk to deal with them meaning you cant kill them both. there is a hard and challenging game play then there is just stupidly too hard!!! (Yes I do use Champion Mods)

Honestly the game just feels like gambling to me now. "Roll 5 hours of your precious time and we will reward you... maybe nothing!"

They all are dude. Unless you are farming for mats or get a specific roll the loot is junk. And once you have god rolls there are very few activities that can drop anything worth having at all

It´s a (Looter) Shooter Game ... without a Loot :) After finished four times a Legend and two times Master NF Yesterday without getting a single Sniper Rifle I have decide to just quit! And to chase a godroll? Ufff... The amount of grind is ridiculous,have no incentive to play at all

Ran E15 about 8 times Sat/Sun for the Warlock legs. Instead I got sweet FA and then a Transverse Steps... It's not a fun way to grind :-)

The game loop is just way off - you grind this drudge for what reason exactly; to make easier content easier…!? I got a sniper yesterday that I was interested in trying out but every activity dictates your loadout, played a couple of hours, logged off due to ‘repeat fatigue’…don’t know if I like the sniper…

I understand that me running a legendary (not master) lost sector in 5 or less minutes shouldn’t guarantee an exotic every other run, but why is glimmer on its own a reasonable reward? There shouldn’t be a world where someone can run close to 15 lls, with 9-10 of those runs rewarding either glimmer and herealways pieces (or an equivalent) or just straight glimmer on its own. At that point, it’s be more rewarding to run the base sector since I can run it faster

3 RepliesI did 10 back to back sectors when I was trying to get the new hunter chest exotic awhile back and all I got were legendary gear drops, enhancement cores, enhancement prisms, and soul crushing defeat.

Legend lost sectors are not endgame. Master lost sectors are. Right now their drop tables and chances are identical, and that's honestly the biggest problem

Lost Sectors are pretty much equivalent to the DBZ fillers where all there is, is just a Saiyan screaming all the way through the episode and when it's over you just go... Oh, that's it, I got nothing special outta that... Well how's about the next episode... [spoiler]And then it's the SAME shit, Endless screaming with no rewards.[/spoiler]

It's sad that the main reward is 5k glimmer. On the bright side, it's a decent glimmer farm if your short and it's an easy lost sector.

I don't even bother doing them at all this season and therefore i still don't have the 3 new exotics for my characters . Ask me how much i care for their hamster wheel ? I don't even do bounties because the XP you get is useless in all activities that mater (not that it shouldn't be) . I just play dungeons missions and some times raids . I use to raid more but they removed 5 raids so not so many left to play . i don't grind i just play without bothering about god rolls and stats but that's just me .

That's why I ran it just once for the weekly challenge. No point in dealing with that hassle just to hope you get an exotic.
