I mean, we got Stasis. From Darkness. So why not a subclass similar to the nightmares caused by darkness. Or something relating to the scorn (as they are a result of darkness, or so I think 🤔).
Why not get a hive worm to get hive magic?😂
that last one was a joke, but I am seriously about the other subclass ideas
What do you guys think. Any different or improved ideas?

I just wish they’d make choices in the game more permanent, let say when it’s time to choose your sub class and that’s it you can’t switch or choose another with out making a whole new character.

1 ReplyI feel like a taken themed subclass would be cool, one of the abilities could basically just be the same effect as one of the rise of iron artifacts where when you punched an enemy it becomes an ally, except here it could be when you punch an enemy the become taken? Idk most of my hope come from hoping that taken armor set from d1 will have a reason to come back

3 RepliesHive-like soulfire effects (Or basically poison/corruption akin to what we’ve seen with Thorn and Necrotic Grips) seems to be the most popular and likely option. As cool as a Siva subclass would be I can’t see that having any relation to the Witch Queen storyline and Nightmare energy is just as unlikely. Given that The Darkness is the embodiment of natural selection, entropy, and decay in the universe, the next subclasses will probably be related to such processes just like Stasis is. The Darkness seems to be a physical force (For example, Stasis freezes on a kinetic and molecular level, not an elemental or energy-based level) while the Light seems to work in a more energy-based or elemental fashion. To sum up the way I see things: The Light gives energy, The Darkness takes it away. A Soulfire/Poison/Corruption effect subclass fits the bill perfectly if you ask me. Let me know what other possibilities you guys can think of though!

Edited by Hexi: 6/18/2021 4:27:06 AMthe 2nd one will be Hive Magic related, poison stuff. The 3rd will be Taken-related. They are opposites of Light-subs so it makes sense. Fire - Ice. Arc (spark of life) - Death. Void (gravity) - Entropy (the end result of Entropy is the scattering of matter into nothing)

2 RepliesI think one of the next darkness subclasses will be based on decay. Not necessarily necrosis but of how atoms have a natural decay over time. This subclass would speed up that process and it would look like and act like poison.

3 RepliesAs long another Darkness Subclass don’t get released stupidly like Stasis, i’m fine with different ideas.

Possible subclasses: Taken/blight(likely) Soulfire/decay(likely) Nightmare/phantom(probably not) Egregore/glykon(unlikely) I personally hope it’s taken. Soulfire seems like the most obvious choice but it just sounds boring to me. We’ve already had a nightmare campaign so I doubt it’ll come back. I haven’t played presage but I’ve watched a video so all I know is that it has plants impaling people and damage fields, so it has potential.

I just want a vampire subclass

6 RepliesI think we are most likely going to get some corruption or hive-esque powers this fall with witch queen. My prediction for the third subclass is something red, maybe like the nightmares. This would make sense because the light subclasses are the true primary colors magenta, cyan and yellow (sorta) while the dark classes are intermediate colors like blue, green and red.

I theorize poison and taken for the next subclasses
-
1 ReplyPoison and SIVA You heard it from me. ;)
-
2 RepliesId like: Corruption = Poison or debuff stuff. Nightmare = mind control. Imagine Warframe abilities like Sayrns spores or miasma. Or Nyx mind control. Could be neat.

1 ReplyThe next Subclass color will be green The one Lightfall will be white or grey
-
1 ReplyIt’s gonna be vapor
-
A taken subclass would be 100000% good
-
Blight!

2 RepliesI think were going to get 1 new darkness subclass in Which Queen and Light fall. I think one of them will be Corruption. Pretty much Thorn type damage as that gun is already tied to the dark to some extent.

Vex based time shenanigans. Clarity.
