As all battle passes in different games offer.
Think about 50 silver / 100 silver
Range between 60 - 80 - 100 tier.
One good reason to level up your battlepass.
This game truly lacks incentive
-
That would hinder their business for milking the game for their other game.
-
Hahahahahaha. Yeah we want that. But it won't happen...

If you want a rewards program, get a credit card.

Cus they give us dust which is basically the same thing
-
3 RepliesThe battle pass in Destiny isn’t the same as other games. In Destiny, Your not actually paying for the battle pass but paying for the seasonal content. The battle pass is a free addition to the seasonal content
-
1 ReplyI mean they give you a decent amount of Bright Dust in it...
-
This. It would be a good idea
-
I'd prefer Synthweave Bolts. 5 for maxing out the pass.
-
1 ReplyThis is a terrible idea, eververse is meant to help support the game. If you don’t like it then don’t bother with it and just play the game. The only problem I have with eververse is how expensive everything is but I don’t care since its just all cosmetic.

Edited by BraddyBo: 6/16/2021 3:39:28 AMIf bungie did that then they would need to increase the xp cap per level from 100k to like 500k to match the progression of passes in other games that grant partial refunds while leveling the pass. Also unlike other games, you are paying $10 for both the battle pass and the premium seasonal content. In cod/apex all content is free and the $10 is purely for the battle pass.
-
7 RepliesCan I get some crypto in there as well? And some gift cards to target. Lol so why would bungie give us in reality real money back? Silver is actual money bright dust is fake money. Why would bungie give us their hard earned lol money
-
Not a bad idea.

1 ReplyMy eyes are bulging out over this post

because business.

1 ReplyBungie:" Brah, we have to spend on labor to segregate our staff into little boxes with thier own logos so everyone "feels safe" at work. Then spend more to tell you about it every week. We don't care about incentivising our player base. Do you even sjdub?? "

1 ReplyEdited by TTVSpeed_NA: 6/17/2021 1:00:31 PMHonestly they just need more content on the premium side, I mean this season literally only has override and expunge, which is a laughable amount of content. This season isn’t anywhere near worth the 10$ for the content offered, especially when compared to previous seasons
-
Because silver = less money for bungo
-
5 RepliesPay-to-win accusations. ...and giving away silver cuts into Bungie's revenue. The whole point of the Season Pass and Eververse is to generate a steady stream of revenue to support the game, instead of charging us a monthly sub fee.

4 RepliesEdited by Exo-777-: 6/16/2021 10:42:01 PMIts basic greed m8 2 other massive games battlepassess have between 1300 and 1500 real money tokens It doesn't hurt the game in any shape or form and it gives people a reason to complete the said bsttlepass and save up for some nice from the real money shop Il go even further than that whats happening and what's the future of battlepassrs is being allowed to select higher teir rewards , so you get to choose what you want This battlepass is outdated and needs to change
-
They never will. Take one good look at eververse and look at the amount of silver needed for everything. An exotic emote is literally 1000 silver... 10 bucks for an emote. Bungie is ballin off of eververse and need the $ bad for their anti-cheat that they're definitely working on. If you want stuff from eververse. Grind for bright dust. I hear zavala gifts 10 bright dust per bounty. That's fair, right? Aight, I'm done lol. In all honesty they've been extremely generous with bright dust, extremely generous. Pray to RNGesus that you'll get some nice stuff from bright engrams and always hoard your dust for dust purchases. 😁

4 RepliesI'd rather have monthly bundles of silver awarded to game pass ultimate and ps plus subscribers. Similar to how ps plus owners get platinum bundles and other items for Warframe. Example

2 RepliesEdited by The Rat King: 6/16/2021 12:53:25 PMExcluding the obvious games, this is a risk on Bungies part if they did this. Not trying to defend greed but I’m gonna try to give an example. Bright dust is a limited but still prevalent form of in game currency. Bungie would either limit how much silver you can have, which would deplete the purpose to buy seasons and such because you’d probably reach the max really quickly. It’s like $10 for 1000 silver or so, right?(I don’t know I don’t buy silver very often). Let’s say, theoretically due to a series of certain someone’s in the USA, inflation kicks in. Well then $10 is now worth what today’s $1 is. This means they’d either increase how much their items are worth, in Eververse or silver and they’d likely raise brighdust amounts as well(like they already did with shaders). Basically to continue making what they’re making already, they’d wanna steer clear from having to rely on country economies for alternate sources of paying for cosmetic items. Fortnite and friends tend not to have this issue because they’re not only making a lot of money, like bungie, but they’re making a lot of money and the risk is a lot less expensive in theory for epic games at this point.

6 RepliesCODS was surprisingly generous, bought the first and earn enough to get the next for free
-
2 RepliesCould make a premium and free version of silver, have the free version for cosmetics only(at maybe a higher price because free?) while having the premium(paid) silver used for whatever you want. I know a couple of games has that kind of free/premium system and all the users love it.
-
Imo, I’d love if they put silver in the pass so that you could earn the next one (or spend it on eververse - however that’d put a damper on bright dust)
