2 RepliesOh yes one archetype is overperforming so it's time for a blanket HC nerf... God I hate these forums sometimes.

1 ReplyEdited by amazinj2084: 6/16/2021 5:52:12 AMNerf all hand cannons not just 120. Only choosing to nerf 120, will create a pandemic for another weapon. So just nerf them all. The next meta will be side arms anyways.
-
1 Replyhow about we remove 100% of all bullet magnetism from game.
-
But why nerf all hand cannons? Only the 120s seem to be a problem. I personally don't mind 120s, I usually use 140s like AoS or palindrome. I still feel able to keep up. When I am being outranged, I try to close the distance or tactical retreat, not every battle can be won. I would hate if 180s got nerfed, the survivor's epitaph is such a good new weapon. I think most hand cannons are fine the way they are, and the bigger problem is the map design and ability to 2-tap. If the maps were bigger, I think everyone would see that scout rifles have more range than 120s. Also maybe remove HER's effect from pvp or something else.

19 RepliesYou guys need to start specifying which platform you play on. PC or Console. Hand cannons are not an issue on console.
-
Just wait until they release new trials 120’s with heating up/tunnel vision lol. You know they are going to.
-
6 RepliesOnly 120s Don’t go overboard with hc nerfs
-
Hand cannon range is fine? 120s simply do to much damage.
-
Remove all movement penalties to the rest of the weapons. Guardians can jump 30 ft in the air but have to have their feet planted to use their weapons.
-
10 RepliesI say if they keep the range Turn them back into 110’s.
-
25 RepliesEdited by YATM: 6/15/2021 4:57:27 PMHCs should be high risk / high reward. If you can hit your shots they should wreck. If you miss your shots you should be screwed. I would rather see them buff 450 autos a bit. But a good HC user should be able to wreck lower skill weapons in the hands of lower skill users. Work on your movement. Use cover to get into the mid range. Then spray them with something that flinches. Or hit them with a high impact fusion. That will frustrate hc users more than a range nerf.
-
But it's not a special ammo weapon and it's powerful. How about leave it alone.

7 RepliesYou're running last word and felwinters. Of course you're going to get outranged. And know if hand cannons have any less range then they become non-competitive. The medium range is a safe area for them. At any other ranges other weapons start to take off The problem is not the weapon, it's the peripherals. We need bigger maps. We need movement adjusted. We need high energy fired probably removed in PVP (but in PVE it stays)
-
18 RepliesYou think nerfing them will help you not constantly lose 😂 Don’t post after losses bruh. That match history is hilarious…
-
Maps need adjusting not the weapons. We have been playing the same maps forever! They have removed sniper/scout/pulse maps and kept the shotgun/hand cannon/fusion/gl maps Haha
-
1 ReplyI think the best solution is to change them back to 110 RPM but keep the range. 110s never had that range to help make them competitive before Beyond Light. I think that would make the Sandbox a lot more wide open.
-
5 RepliesI agree, they take zero skill because the hitbox is the entire upper body and way outside. When hc’s outgun and out range scout rifles and 95% of the player base is using them in PvP then there’s a balance issue. Problem is a lot of players only want to use the most no skill weapons because they do t want to have to learn to aim or how to play so they rely on hc’s, shotguns and bows.
-
No. This would make them obsolete in PvE again! Before they were buffed at Beyond Light, when they were 110s, their usage rates in PvE and PvP were very low.
-
Yep, I don't even use my scouts anymore.
-
3 RepliesGit gud
-
2 RepliesNerfing 120’s will lead to an even bigger 140 meta.
-
3 RepliesHow about we make it so you actually have to aim with HCs. It hand feeds you crits.
-
Long live crimson baby 🧂 😘 👑
-
29 Repliesno. they need some love on console rn
-
5 RepliesGive me a 50 rpm hand cannon that does all but one shot you and has the range of a scout rifle but the stability of a high rate of fire sub machine, one shot you kill a dude but you are looking straight up in the sky
-
Nahh, they just need to make some bigger maps.
