Bungie hand cannons should not be able to battle long range weapons.

The fact that igneous Hammer, fate bringers, steady hands can all battle out scouts and puke rifles at long range is ridiculous.

  • All HCs should have the range and power like TLW. Short range monsters. Not sniping me and out gunning pulse and scout rifles.

    • Just use DMT since you are already trying to use scouts. Takes about as much skill to use DMT as it does to use controller Last Word.

      All the maps in this game favor Hand cannons and shotguns. They are very small, heavily focused on narrow hallways and CQC. A better question should be, "why are you dueling Handcannons with scout rifles?" Funny enough, when Bungie sunset a bunch of PvP maps, they took out most of, if not ALL the bigger maps that would've been great for scout rifles. 120 HC do have too much range, I will give you that much. When I slap on a True Prophecy or Igneous Hammer I have NO fear of losing a gunfight to a long distance weapon. Maybe a 540 pulse could get the best of you, but other than Dead Man's Tale, you have a very very high chance at beating most other weapons in long range gunfights.

      • Shotgun range should be reduced, too. I know it is a fantasy game, but shot guns should not be lethal more than 12 feet away.

      • The reason scouts arent good is because if you think hand cannons are oppressive scouts will be 5x more oppressive with any buff its why they wont buff them they are terrified of a scout meta
