Order of the above call outs is, as you are looking from the door that you enter the room from.
Left to right far away then left to right closer to the door.
The poll for 612345 should actually read 612543 as the call outs start at the oracle over the steps and count up clockwise.

The normal way. Far left....right...etc

1 ReplyEdited by Arc-Darkling: 6/15/2021 1:21:38 AMIt amazing to me that people get mad at groups and leave if they use numbers

2 RepliesTeaching people/doing it with people who are unfamiliar with the callouts = directional. It is much more intuitive to someone who doesn't know what they are looking at to say right, left, mid, close or far than for them to remember 1-6 callouts. Doing it with experienced people though, definitely numbers. Just quicker, easier to read, less confusing.

Back L1 L2 front R2 R1. if there is only one oracle on the left or right we just call it left or right. i suggested calling left Mars and right for Venus ... because women are from Venus and they're always right.....easy to remember. :)

Crazy, 1-6 is by far the easiest to me rather than positional because no matter where you are on the map you know where the Oracle is by Number. With positional, you HAVE to be in the same point of view so you won't be confused. I guess people register information differently.

Daniel, Rupert, Emma, Oliver, James and Alan.

1 ReplyFar, Close, Mid/Left/Right Short, simple and really only need to call out the first two.

Dog, window, chalice, entrance, square. Sun

Left. Mid. Right. There’s a floater to catch what might be missed. We never had Titan barricades and warlock healing pools either.
-
Left, stairs, right Hidden, mid, portal (Hidden because it’s behind a pillar)

LFG is Front, Back, Left, Right.... Why? Because lfg Front/Back doesn't change, so it's easier for a team who has never communicated to just get the encounter started. There are 50 ways to call numbers. 1-6 for a coordinated team. Why? Because there can be confusion when calling 2 lefts 2 rights... 1 sounds nothing like 4,2,5... so the callouts are more clear. Plus, I find it easier to shoot oracles from the portals using numbers. That's my opinion.
-
We use the numbers for brevity, but teaching new people is easier with close-left etc.

180 RepliesIf you do numbers you’re a bad player and over complicating it 🤷♂️

I learn everything so i am okay with everything but the community needs to choose one 😂
-
Left, middle, right. Back left, back mid, back right. Not as hard as I expected but definitely gets the point across.
-
Mars is actually just past Venus. But yea sure, Mars.

Edited by Jdniscool: 6/14/2021 6:01:57 PMNone. Memorization will ruin fire teams. Instead, just assign an Oracle or 2 to someone and then they call out when it’s down. Easy. Edit: my bad, thought it was the oracle encounter.

Ding, ding, and ding

This one, that one, over here, over there, in your face, and frigg’n far out. 🤪
-
Community consensus seems to be the one with the majority vote on here from what I can tell. It's simple enough and doesn't cause people to really memorize positions since its the "braindead" way since all you need are eyes. I also like it for this reason as I've taken someone in without them ever seeing atheon and they understood.
-
Get teleported and go to back where rally is. Call outs, close and far, right left middle. Ez
-
4 Replies🤣😂 Atheon oracles aren’t the problem.

We only call out numbers as we shoot them. I watch all of right side, stairs and mid left. Two people stay around back left, 1 buy left stairs. Never fails.
