Please Nerf Bastion.
I'm sorry, but Bastion doesn't deserve to be as powerful as it already is. It's crutched on so hard in PvP and trials to the point it changes the flow of a match. I played a game where my team were winning by a score of three rounds to zero, until the enemy switched to Bastion. It's not fair, it's painful to play against and generally makes people want to quit PvP. These are the types of weapons that drive people away from playing PvP. If you actually took the time to listen to what the players want, nobody wants this fusion to be so so strong.

It is literally just a fusion rifle, the exotic perk is pretty much just consistency and the ability to kill supers. There are legendary fusions with better range and merciless has better range as well. Any nerf beyond this point and it will become a legendary fusion with overload rounds in the kinetic slot. The main thing Bastion has going for it is that it’s good at dealing with apes. In this sandbox I’ll smile dying to a bastion simply because it isn’t felwinters lie.

I essentially mained bastion, but its charge time would get me killed in fast paced situations. Even precharging someone rushing just right with a felwinters and Id be dead. I loved using it to shut down titans using barriers and supers. But its not god tier as you make it to be.

19 RepliesYou're using Chaperone + Igneous. Chaperone hard counters Bastion as even 2 shots from it is faster than the charge. Igneous just flat out has ~4 times the range. They swapped because your playstyle is clearly hard countered by Bastion, since you're likely over-aggressive and predictable. If you don't blindly rush your enemies, you won't lose to Bastion. You have summoned me.

Bastion is more or less a super shutdown weapon but even then should only be effective generally against average players. Hang back a bit where you can as its range is also bad any decent slug shottie will beat it and quite a few pellet shotties
