Golden Gun atleast needs super armor while doing the activation animation.
I know its called "golden gun" and not "Golden invincible man with golden gun", gg users dont need armor for the entire super, just the animation.
Because hiding behind cover before popping the super just to go out into the open and see everyone has already ran to protection like a bunch of rats doesnt isnt really affective.
And then 1-3 people sliding in on you while you pop your super doesnt help either because you will just get shot down before you draw the thing.
Which is why i propose a slight super sheild, about half or 3/4s, during the animation, and then afterward, no super armor.

I use the 3 shot variant ( bottom tree ) and would just appreciate a little more time to get my shots off considering it's only 3. Often without any luck you will have people just hide before you can safely get the angle on them. I'm not dismissing the power of GG but even having a grace period between activation and your first shot, like a slowed super bar timer drain after activating it but still before your first shot. Then after the first shot it drains quickly. Considering how easy it is to kill the GG and talking specifically about bottom tree, I think a little buff to consistency in terms of extra time to get at least your first shot off safely to secure 1 of only a possible 3 isn't too much? Is it?

Although I have minimal issues with using the super, one of them are stated here, i know when to use gg and when to not use it. Sometimes i dont use it at all, it situational. But I am just trying to improve it

Slide and pop your super . Maintain momentum without having to wait for the animation to be over

1 ReplyIt should have some type of resistance. You are walking and gunsling a whole team. Without armor you are lucky to get a few shots off.

Arguably it does need super armor through the entire super. It’s range was so badly nerfed and it’s aim assist was nerfed to the point it does sort of need some armor. Not like nova bomb level armor but a little.
