My friend gave me the awnser and it's gonna bug people. Bungie has Changed the Champion Mods for this season on guns to work on Precision Hits only. I was complaining to I always go for the Upper Mass, [spoiler]critical area of the chest is Central, Upper chest aim for the mid left, and you hit both Heart and the Lungs, (Lord of the Rings, never take an Arrow to the Upper Central Chest, you will die like two of the side characters,) it's not fun. But in some games (Sniper Elite, I know and Battle Field I think, an upper chest is critical.) Now I DONT expect Bungie to change the Hitbox to give the chest three Seperate areas of Hitboxes the mid has your Intestinal track, (don't let that get hit you let your Intestinal track fluid leak and disolve your other organs from the inside out, very painfil) the bottom of your stomach has your spleen and other non essential organs, the top part tho?? Yeah that's a killshot if I make it through ur armour back on point tho.[/spoiler] Back on point, I was doing A NF and couldn't figure out why MY pistol wouldn't stun and my friend who was in my living room playing on my other TV says, "critical hits," as he's standing behind unloading shots into the Fire Canister on the Unstoppable Cabal just after the trains. And mid you I was trying to figure out if I had to do a certian number?? Than I realized when my friend would use a Hand Cannon, that the Firing Pattern and Recoil Pattern, with Large Hitboxes means that my friend could use a Pistol the same way a Hand Cannon, just unload point blank range and get a headshot stunning the champion. So I started running around stunning them with my pistol doing Headshots it critical shots to the weakplates cause Bungie Cabal were to easy and we need to do ONLY precision shots. It bugs me too people.

A few things might be happening. 1) ADS(aim down sights for a short time to proc the unstoppable mod. 2) If they’ve already been stunned a short time before they have a cool down period where they can’t be stunned again for a short time. There will be a white aura over their heads( almost looking like horns) When that goes away they can be stunned again. 3) I don’t use Unstoppable sidearms so they might be bugged. But try those first two unless you already know how the different champions work.

I found that too. The Unstoppable mod for grenade launchers though works really well, especially if you use Witherhoard. The only downside is the mod needs 7 slots on your armor.
