Iron Banner sucks
Haven't played and it's only been out two hours but I figured someone needed to post it and complain.

2 RepliesI’ll stick to my usual ib complaints Maps are too small for 12 players... ib as 8 players would be a much more enjoyable experience Respawn should be delayed up to 5 extra seconds if there is a spawn flip occurring Players should have option to disable backfilling... or if you are going force back filling give us the median amount of super energy among the 11 other players. No backfilling should occur if the match is more than 50 percent complete or if the score disparity is greater than 2.5:1. Getting dropped in a 70 percent complete match... when 4 of the enemy players have their supers is one of the super negative experiences in ib Range is a excessive on a number of shotguns especially for such small maps Range is excessive on hand cannons especially for small maps Bungie parameters on booting people with terrible connections are not strict enough. Especially in 6v6. I have to imagine 4v4 would be a more stable experience. Plus side stasis spam is way less. It maybe still needs some tweaks on the supers but they honestly took a step in the right direction and deserve credit Lobby balancing for me has been 50:50 instamercy to good matches. Sadly that’s an improvement but it should still be noted as an improvement and hopefully be something they can build on My suggested improvements New/bigger maps Convert existing small maps to 4v4 Medium reduction to all shotgun ranges 120 and 140 hc range reduction Backfilling improvements Continued tweaking on lobby balancing

1 ReplyIB is pretty fun right now. A lot less stasis, finally. Seeing more variety in weapons and subclasses. Bad lobby balancing sometimes, but that's typical in this game. Just take your lumps and move on to the next match. I do wish more players would help control zones instead of mindlessly running around like Mike the headless chicken, but that'll never change either.

Well, 4 matches in and my team has gotten mercied 3 times. Players refusing to leave spawn or playing like zombies.

3 RepliesI don’t mind IB even with all the noob weapons And teleporting level 130+ BP guardians I just wish destiny would have a pvp mode that mimics halo, doesn’t need to be exactly like halo, but similar.

The usual people smacking yo booty hoping you will cap the enemy zone with them while 4 angry angry DMTs shred the meat off your cape and or dress slowly.... 😂 but hey those sweet +1 pinnacles 😋

I’ve had a little more success this time around. Haven’t found any good weapons but there’s less Stasis and there’s Freelance.

3 RepliesYup. I'm not the best PvP player , not the worst either. That said @ 5 hours of IB yesterday and it was a stomp every game. Stasis wasn't so oppressive but meme shotgun hunters, and having to attempt sniping (something I loath do to stupid zoom and small was maps) frusterated me enough I erased the quest and bounties . F IB in the BH . it's control for my three PvP matches from here on out. Any quests or Cats. That need PvP kills can suck it.
