I'll say this, joining this clan is the best thing that's happened to me in Destiny. I started playing D2 a little under a year ago when lockdown was in full-swing, after taking a hiatus from the series for 4 years (since the Taken King, soon before Rise of Iron released) because of university. I was never very good at D1, I did some raids here and there but LFG wasn't exactly a welcoming place and I had countless bad expriences and often spent hours if not days trying to complete each raid, so a good 80% of my time was just solo. So when I jumped back into the series in Season of Arrivals, knowing that I had a season to have a taste of all the content before a good half of it would be going away, I needed a good, reliable community to join in order to get everything done in time. I found my way to #GetTaniksAHouse, and not only did I make some friends & acquaintances that I now play with weekly, I got the chance to complete every raid before many were Vaulted and have managed to build upon and improve my skills to such an extent that I couldn't have dreamed of back when I was just a high school kid playing D1. I've built my way up from a nobody who did barely anything of note and had an utterly abysmal raid completion rate in D1, up to a certified raid sherpa with 3 (and soon to be 4, hopefully) raid titles under my belt, and accolades ranging from flawless raids to Gilded Conqueror, all thanks to the help and support of the kind folks of this clan and community.
