I don't know the best solution for this, but come on. This system could be so much better, so much more streamlined.
Loadout saving, mod generalization (instead of 3 pages of mods, condense it all to special, heavy, and primary mods, maybe different categories on archetypes).
Anything would be better.

Lol took em 6 years to add transmog bro
-
6 RepliesAmmo mods should be primary, special and heavy. Not weapon specific.
-
Yeah...but "we're listening." But don't call them out on that or they'll put out an attention-seeking super passive aggressive tweet.
-
3 RepliesOr introduce Modweave strands, where we need to kill 401 of whatever for one strand in order to unlock a modelled module that we have to mod with mods we can weave at the modular moderator V.2.1.4.
-
the fact that you can't save loadouts or create classes like every other game Zzzzzz
-
Don't change them at all then.

3 RepliesThe solution is simplification, combined with Bungie not trying to fix what isn't broken. If you're doing an activity that requires overload, you should be able to have an overload mod on, and select whether it is overload (primary) or overload (special). Limiting choice to your seasonal forced meta is obnoxious. If you want loaders, or finders, or scavengers...well, Bungie already had that. Special ammo finder - period. Heavy ammo finder - period. Granted...maybe it's less beneficial than running double GL finders for a primary and heavy slot GL, but...none of it would be an issue if they weren't overly stingy with ammo in the first place. Beyond that, having presets would be great - a pve build, a pvp build, a build for endgame content...would be great to have the game respect our loadouts, and the need for flexibility, a little more and not take 5 minutes to swap everything out.

My 11 stacks of Mod Components would like to volunteer to be the currency to swap mods. I'd even say "I'm happy with all these great mods", if I could just use the fvcking Mod Components.
-
1 ReplyEasy Solution: Weapon mods just activate on the artefact. Armour can be left well alone for building builds then! No need to switch out armour mods if you want to go to pistol and smg instead of scout and auto.
-
Yes - loadout saves would be huge, but seeing that we still have no in game lfg I highly doubt that’s happening anytime soon.

3 RepliesI honestly think Bungie does this on purpose. For the same reasons they bombard players with junk loot. All that time dismantling items, changing mods, etc. It's all busy work that keeps us engaged with the game. I think that's how they look at it. It's idiotic nonsense, but that's how they look at it. If this is true, I would love to ask Bungie a question. What does this say about your game if constant mindless dull busy work is what it takes to keep us engaged?

i so damn tired of getting damn blues all the damn time i spend more time deleting blues then i do anything on this game it seems like bungie needs to come up with a way when ur a at max light power blues should just auto turn into gunsmith mats its not hard for those idiots at bungie to do they did it in D1
-
It is getting old.
-
AND it shouldn’t take a third party app to swap load outs. The tools for that should be in the game.
-
Keep the mods with the weapons or weapon types and automatically apply them from the artifact instead of linking them to the armour. Seems too simple, right?

i love how many upvotes this is getting

8 RepliesThe solution is to make master working more accessible. Specifically, the prisms are the problem. They should drop more frequently to encourage people to spend materials to upgrade their gear. That would encourage people to build more complete sets. This, in addition to a loadout system would be a lot better than what is in game now.

3 RepliesImagine switching mods for guns. I wish I could. But half the mods destroy my stat settings because of their high costs... Why can gun mods like for sniper not be 3-4 energy instead of 5? I barely play sniper because of this. Or grenade launchers.
-
You can build load outs in DIM. One-button switch. You probably have a dozen armor sets for each character, just mod up each set for the gun combos you usually play.
-
3 RepliesThe only problem with this comment ... I can only +1 it once. You wouldn't think it would be hard to condense it to a Single Special Ammo Finder and a Single Heavy Ammo Finder and associated Scavenger Perks. I literally only ever blow glimmer on swapping mods around and buy bounties its really dumb!

The thing I'm getting really frustrated with is the unstoppable mods this season. 7 energy for GL or use a sidearm or void melee. It makes things so confined in making a fun end game build. I hate that. Plus if I'm trying to solo something or work as a team I have to move things around. If I change weapons again move things around. If I'm in PVP. Again move things around. I spend more time tweaking and adjusting it feels like than playing. For a game that wants me to play the way I want it sure as hell doesn't feel like it.

3 RepliesSadly we asked for Customization and boy did they ever give it to us. However having to Change 2 or 3 pieces of armor mods because now I'm having the worst time finding Heavy Machine Gun ammo when I used to run sword. Whats wrong with saying give me heavy ammo? lol So now I just run Heavy Machine gun and Sword so if I switch back and forth I'm still getting it.

That’s why I liked the year 2 version of armour, I had a set for each raid, then I had my general use stuff, switching took a few seconds, now it’s just annoying but I do appreciate the flexibility I guess. Bungie can’t win with this one

145 RepliesEdited by Le_Reinforcements: 6/6/2021 6:01:16 PMWould I be a jerk for mentioning that Warframe lets you save Loadouts? You know, a free game. An actually free game.

5 RepliesBungie doesn’t do QOL. They just don’t listen or ask questions here. Bungie does COL (click over load) / or TOL (travel overload) In addition to the mod clickfest. Transmog/appearance system - can’t save load outs Mod system - can’t safe load outs Blue engrams - can’t toggle auto dismantle on Planetary materials - 5 per click / click speed limited / have to fly to tangled shore and sparrow to spider Glimmer - per above 10k/click LFG - can’t use app to make team on PS have to use PS system to connect / join Postmaster management - HAVE to fly to HELM for umbrals / HAVE to fly to tower for engrams (DON’T have to fly to tower for eververse though and it’s engrams)

Bungie has an evil mastermind that works for them. His only job is to come up with evil and subtle ways to increase the grind and ruin peoples fun. This is one of them.
