How is a trace rifle with no impact better than scouts, AR, high impact pulses, aggressive frame hand cannons.
How does that make sense that a gun that does 5 hits of 52 to the head (vigilance wing) doesn’t win a gun fight at pulse ranges. But the trace rifle can cross map ppl in blink of an eye.
Talk about broken

It’s a bit of a mystery that’s for sure. I would’ve thought everyone would complain about high impact handcannons or scout rifles. Trace rifles being OP? What the heck? LOL
-
Well, they're special weapons, for starters. They SHOULD have more damage output. And guessing that this is for Momentum... It's not supposed to be a serious gamemode. You have summoned me.

Well I would hope a special weapon could outperform primaries. Would be pathetic if they couldn't, especially when every trace rifle is an exotic.

Edited by Vox Aphotix: 6/5/2021 11:00:42 PMBecause momentum is for fun.
Also, traces are treated like ARs (in the code) so they technically hit you multiple times over and over again. Plus, they fire at 1000 rpm. Tl;dr, it’s a really fast shooting and stable ar
1 ReplyMomentum is literally the only activity in Destiny 2 where trace rifles have any effective use. We get that PvP variant so rarely that throwing it in as catalyst fuel is fine.
