I rarely see anyone using it except for Arc singe strikes. It's practically absent in PvP. And it's no surprise because it's extremely underwhelming. Since Bungie like to nerf stuff based on usage, I don't see why Arctstrider isn't being buffed
-
Whirlwinding guard is pretty solid, but without it sucks

4 RepliesEdited by Ido X: 6/7/2021 8:25:22 PMNo it doesn't. You just want it to be OP. It was horrible with stasis being OP. Now that stasis got a big hit, it is great. Tired of people asking for easy wins. We need a Dawnblade nerf for controllers and consoles.

Question about arcstrider, since the latest update, anyone else dying to misadventure from blocking with the super and having it reflect all the damage to you and counting as if you killed yourself? Happening every time I use it right now in PvP....
-
Same with nova warp and blade barage and mid tree hammers and bottom tree stormcaller and both tethers and bottom dawn and bottom nova. All of these classes see minimal play. They really need to add aspects or update these classes so they are useful.
-
Yes. Yes it does.
-
I use middle tree all the time in pvp. Maybe bump super movement speed slightly but that’s it. It’s in a good spot
-
You’ve clearly never run into me. I’ll stop running arcstrider the day they pry it from my cold dead hands. And then my ghost’ll Rez me and I’ll get right back to running it immediately.
-
9 RepliesI will always be disappointed that the third three they gave us was whirlwind and not like a throwing javelin super.
-
2 RepliesMid tree's melee could use an integration into the super as well. Be a neat idea.
-
15 RepliesNah you’re just use to stasis being op now you want everything like that
-
I just want old D1 arcblade back honestly
-
It needs straight changed , blade dancers REALLY need to comeback, or arc crossbow supers or something. Just poledance sucks
-
1 Replyi think it's okay, its just not fun enough really, its the same old thing since it came out i think top and bottom tree should have the guard added to them, its a dead button otherwise. middle tree should have a super that switches up the playstyle and feels different! i talked about this a long time ago on here, most people settled on an arc version of the VALKIYRE which you'd normally pick up on mars. its a long range high damage throwable with a slow high damage melee, could 1 shot other supers with crits. small explosions from impact could act as a blinding grenade. get time for like 4-5 throws with it
-
Make the hit registration bigger with it's melees to compensate p2p. But that's to be said about any melee based super aside from wraith. Wraith is fine where it's at. Middle tree is fine other than tuning it's reflecting gimmick. Bottom I feel should be THE DODGE class. The one where people would actually have a reason to complain about the hunter dodge. And the top one needs to be reworked so give n take isn't more take when it comes to it's (linear) concept.

1 ReplyArcstrider is the only roaming super that can reflect some shut down supers and the super kills from a mile away. How does it need a buff?
-
The Arcstrider super needs to be buffed. The only tree I can see being buffed is top tree but that’s only because it’s about melees and melees in this game miss a lot and get railed by shotguns. The super on middle tree is good but that doesn’t fix the issue with the other two trees.
-
2 RepliesI main a warlock and even i can say that arcstrider needs something more. Middle tree got nothing new other then reflects, but its still arcstrider. Middle tree needs a rework. Something that actually changes the subclass. Lots of subclasses need to be looked at but arcstrider is definitely up there on the list of reworks. Id say top three classes that need help are 1. Middle tree Arcstrider 2. Nova warp 3. Top tree hammers.
-
The grenades for the arc strider killl the subclass for me
-
We gotta wait to see how they gonna change our subclass trees first
-
I also have mained arcstrider, it isn't a boss super its for add clearing which it does very well. Also it's just fun to use. Not every super needs to be boss killing machine.
-
I’ve main’d Arcstrider since launch and I’ve never thought it needed a buff. I use it in PVE and PVP.
-
Arcstrider is fine. Middle tree is a very viable super in PvP with the Raiju’s Harness and Raiden Flux makes top and bottom tree viable in PvE.
-
3 RepliesIt doesn't need a buff in PvP. Just because no one uses it doesn't mean it's not powerful
Broken, cough, mid tree
It's still a hard counter to stasis, and a well placed Shadebinder orb or Silence throw is still one of the only counters to Whirlwind outside of waiting for the super to end PvE is another thing. No one really wants to pop on Raiden Flux for strike when all it does is increase the damage, not to mention the benefits of tether vastly outweigh the benefits of a whirly twirly light stick in high end PvE like Nightfalls or Legend/Master Sectors. Hunters especially like their neutral game (which is why most if them wear Stompees)

2 RepliesWho cares about subclasses when the entire game is boring? Idk how someone could focus on something like this when there isnt a single fun activity In the game to use your subclass in
-
I don't know about a generic Buff for the entire Subclass, but Way of the Current definetly needs some kind of rework, imho.

8 RepliesHave you used assasins cowl with top tree arcstrider in pve? You are litterally unkillable.
