Don't listen to the clowns who haven't seen it with shaders. The set is amazing because it finally breaks some "established rules" of Warlock armor designs:
Helmet: Embraces a more rogueish style with a rebreather, straps along the top and a tank behind it instead of crushing my head in a cereal box like a majority of other Warlock helmets.
Arms: A little disappointed that the right isn't as armored and lit up like the left but its saved by the fact that it has a shoulder plate and elbow on it.
Chest: Very open and rugged with pulsating lights and bits of armor plating. Have the "warrior scholars" finally realized going to war in bath robes doesnt keep you well protected?
Legs: Finally. Some more armored boots that protect more than my fragile warlock shins.
Bond: You mean I can have an arm plate instead of a giant friendship bracelet squeezing my arm for once?
Continue on in the direction of coats/jackets that dont restrict the legs and start adding plated vests under some like what you did with the Wildhunt Vestments. No more dresses. No more bathrobes. I wanna look badass not dainty.

1 ReplyI'd like it if it wasn't the holdfast robes with a fancy light.

Add in the gambit shader and you are filled with neon green lights. Also..tell me the helmet doesnt make you look like a bat.

Edited by Takkonen: 6/5/2021 8:21:24 PMHonestly, I think it's one of the better season ornament sets for warlock that has come out in awhile, although I do prefer the Lightkin helmet more. Actually, the Lightkin robes are really nice too. The boots on both sets are the weak spot for me, compared to the other two classes. Just kind of oddly shaped. One thing that has bothered me quite a bit since I started playing Destiny 2 is Bungie's strange focus on making so much armor asymmetric. Really turns me off a lot of armor. This leg has a shin guard, but not this one. You have shoulder protection here, but not here. This arm has lights, but not that one. What??They do the same thing with adding what look like bandages/wraps on certain pieces too. Completely ruins the piece for me. If there was an option to have damaged or non-damaged armor, then sure, go for it; but damaged being the only option? Lame.

Yeah it looks like a high-tech computer hacker outfit. Very fitting for this season. I like it. Not the biggest fan of the helmet, but the robes look awesome. The robes pair really nicely with the Siegebreak Gloves too. The little screen on the left arm reminds me of a Pip-Boy.

Best helmet by far

Edited by EmeraldWaves996: 6/5/2021 7:46:23 AMI like the helmet for sure. The lighting effects are also pretty cool. It’s just not my personal style, which doesn’t matter bc that’s only my opinion haha (I prefer more of a sleek, smooth look. You could always inspect my Warlock and see what I’ve got equipped if you really wanted. The 3D renderings always look bad tho). But I do think the helmet is awesome. I hope bungie puts some actual effort into future warlock sets as well.
