I know for a fact that my friend has no reason, let alone the means to hack, exploit, or cheat any of these games. He woke up this morning to a perma ban on his destiny 2 account. Him, all of our friends and I believe this is due to a third party logging into his account and using mods and cheats to make it look like he is the guilty party. He's been a big part of my teams and personal life and I really don't wanna see him have to climb all the way back up to where he was. I would love to see this get traction here, because I know account theft happens way too often in this game. If a person who can really help him see this and feel inclined to help I can defiantly help provide a contact to him.
Thank you for your support - Wes

2 RepliesHi there! The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the ban or restriction appeal contact form found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy found here.

He needs to post here with definitive proof as to how he was banned and apply for an appeal

8 RepliesYour friend got VAC banned on three separate games... sounds like they like to cheat. Also sounds like something they should take up with Steam, rather than you coming here to the forums of 1/3 of the games they've been banned from.

1 ReplyFirst off, you need to quit throwing attitude towards people who are trying to help. People have given you reasons why he could be ban and you double down and stick up for your friend and accuse them of insulting your friend. Secondly, you have been told twice that there is absolutely nothing the forums can do to help your friend, and that the only thing that he can do is file an appeal. You then accuse them of being unhelpful, when there is literally, absolutely nothing they can do to help. Now, if he himself were to post to the forums, where we can see his game history, that could help narrow down what might have happened that caused a ban. Your being awful salty and protective of your friend. Your 100% sure he didn’t cheat, but how would you know? Have you been sitting over his shoulder watching him play?

2 RepliesWell…if a 3rd party logged into his account, then either 1) your friend gave out his login info, or 2) he has poor/lacking account security measures in place.

my friend has no reason, let alone the means to hack, exploit, or cheat any of these games. He woke up this morning to a perma ban on his destiny 2 account.
If he's innocent, why isn't he posting here instead of you?

We can help you prevent future bans on his new account. 1. NO CHEATING. 2. No wintrading. 3. No boosting services.

1 ReplySo far the feed back has been 1. we can't help you here 2. people doubting and insulting my friend wish I could add more positive but there hasn't been any so far.

4 RepliesSeeing as Bungie doesn't ban for D2 cheats he probably had cheats open for another game.
