Unable to get Exotic Cipher quest from Xur
I've had this issue for about a month and a half, and it started when Xur just flat out refused to take the finished Cipher quest for 2 weeks in a row. I abandoned the quest thinking I could just get the quest next week and try again. The quest hasn't showed up since from Xur.
No, I did not have an Exotic Cipher in my inventory at all during this time.
I checked every single characters Quest tab, quest archive, and Xur himself and the quest does not show up for any of them.
Picking up the Exotic Cipher from the Season Pass and using it to buy a weapon from the Kiosk yesterday (Thursday) did not let me get the quest today.
I am at a loss for what I can do to fix this issue or if it can even be fixed.

11 RepliesHi there. You won't be able to turn in the quest to Xur if (1) you already have an Exotic Cipher in your Consumables Inventory or (2) all slots in your Consumables are full. Since you abandoned the quest, you need to pick it up from Xur with another character and complete the quest with that character. After turning it in, you will again be able to pick up the next quest on your previous character the following week.
