Can please make a way to see DPS after raid boss is defeated
-
Would be a nice little quality of life improvement. It's always nice when I have a dps run that I know was mental (it doesn't happen very often for me), but it would be great to be able to see the stats to know just how good it was. I think a lot of the naysayers for this one aren't quite giving the community enough credit. Don't get me wrong, LFG is fairly toxic, but to kick someone for poor dps on a run that was successful requires someone to be VERY toxic. There'd be people like that, no doubt, but very few of them. Besides, you can just make it something that is accessed from orbit, like the standard post match report. That way they can't check before the loot is had.

“If you beat it you beat it and it shouldn’t matter” No. Data is data. You aren’t gonna get bullied and booted for low damage AFTER you kill the boss. Y’all realize we can already see who the weak links are DURING the encounter right?

Damage numbers on bosses would be a welcome addition it would be nice to see damage without having to die. It would benefit players trying to optimize while still being successful during encounters.

7 RepliesIt's incredible how people clutch their pearls at this idea as if it is a positive STD test. People like myself would like to test out a few things and make tweaks for peak efficiency in encounters. If someone is being toxic over it then it's probably not the best team to raid with. Besides there are wipes that happen in encounters where people screw up DPS or use a bad load out and it shows anyway. Never gave them hell. May ask them what they are doing and using and offer some advice if it is really bringing the whole team down but overall I don't care what others do. I just want to know what I'm doing and how I can improve.

I would like to see either the Prison of Elders post-round screen from Destiny 1 that would now show the wipe screen in a raid or an after action report that shows all the encounters.
-
The dungeons have it so idk why raids don’t, it’s not elitism, if you’re more of a casual player and saw you did terrible damage you could ask how to improve, you guys only focus on the negative

11 RepliesSorry but the overwhelming majority of players would use this to be even more awful than they already are. They'd see one stat not up to what they want or expect and swiftly kick a player to orbit. A lot of the time, these players don't even need a reason. They just want to do it to be awful people. You know it. I know it. Let's not pretend otherwise, m'kay? Yes, there are lots of comments about the players who can just tell who is doing poorly. Problem is, a lot of the time, you don't know WHY someone is doing poorly. When it comes to boss damage numbers, I'm always way up there. I can run Anarchy and double-slug or pretty much whatever to get good, high damage numbers. But what about total kills? It shows final blows in PvE. I could be wrong but I think it only shows assists in PvP after-game stats. My luck, about half the time, is I don't get the final blow on an enemy. I deal a ton of damage but someone else gets credit for the kill. A lot of the time, I can't even tell it happened because the screen is cluttered with so much garbage that it's hard to tell what's happening. Bullets, lasers, lightning, fire, etc.. So take those stats, for instance. Someone like me who gets fewer final blows yet is still doing what they're supposed to do and running perfectly fine weapons and dealing damage, that stat pops up of credited kills being lower... Guess what? Doesn't matter about anything else to these types of people who think all should be as good as they are, my backside finds its way to orbit again. Would EVERYONE be about this? No. Sadly, however, it has become such a terrifyingly large chunk of the players remaining that the odds of coming across a scenario where you're kicked because the numbers aren't what they want or, again, you're kicked because they think it's funny is so big that it isn't worth attempting to play with them. Does EVERYONE ignore the goal of getting Platinum in Nightfalls to improve drop rates? No. Do a HUGE chunk of them do it, though? Absolutely. Yes, I know this isn't the same as teaming up with randoms in strikes. It's pre-made teams because you have to. But how many of your Clanmates do you know, for certain, wouldn't end up being someone to kick another player out for X or Y reason? Willing to bet that most players aren't only playing with friends they've known for a long time. In a way, you're still playing with randoms and you don't know how they treat endgame activities until you're in it with them. Still rolling the dice on what you're going to have to deal with. So, no, basic stats should NOT be added for Raids as it can, and very much will, lead to some awful people having another reason to be awful people. But what about something less specific? What if it ONLY showed damage output? That would include damage dealt to ads in the encounter and, if there's a boss in it, another column showing damage to said boss. Not just final blows or who threw the most X into Y containers or whatever. Just damage numbers. This could work better. It would still have awful players being awful but removing specifics, like number of ads killed or putting more Xs into Y containers or held Zs for longer times, would provide the not-so-awful and genuinely-good players the ability to help those struggling with damage to create better builds or learn better builds, themselves, if someone is just racking-up crazy numbers.

1 ReplyThis reason I made this post is because it can help tune load outs and maybe bring more diversity to raid encounters not to put shame on under performing players ! let's say we try to run a LO other than meta and if something goes wrong and wipe I'm switching back to meta Maybe it wasn't the load out.. or it went right and the boss was killed I have no idea if I was a good load out. If every one runs the same load out we know !! it's not long before Bungie is going to do something about it..

38 RepliesEdited by Verke0: 6/3/2021 9:40:13 PMAll these dimwits here fail to understand one crucial thing. If you beat the encounter, it doesnt matter who has done the least damage, because youve beaten it, right?! Who even cares at that point? Now if you made bad damage and didnt complete the encounter, everyone can see it and still call you out if they are like that. Id like to see my damage numbers at the end, showing of big dig damage to your clanmates is part of the fun. Bunch of snowflakes and their Safespace, jeez

You do realize destiny is already the most toxic game in the world. Why make it worse

1 ReplyOnly led to alot of hate in other games. You beat the mission is the only thing that truly matters.

So if you wipe before you beat it the leader will be coming for the lowest stats lol . :<

1 ReplyA post raid report would be nice. My team wanna see which of us is killing supplicants when we're trying the "no supplicant" challenge
-
Yes please I’ve been wanting this for so long
-
2 RepliesThey'll work on it and find a way to monetize it with real money via Eververse. That seems like the trend when they implement anything the community asked for. It's laughable. LMAO!

I used to teach raids a lot, and seeing damage numbers made it way easier to give advice to new players on how to adjust their load outs/play style/etc. With experienced teams, though, I’d still like to see my own stats to assess what I need to improve, or what other people are doing that works better. I never had bad experience with elitists because I never played with elitists. I don’t understand why people have such a gripe with LFG when you can choose yourself who you play with.
-
My team just calls out “wipe for damage” before boss kill and we can then see optimal load outs or if some different guns are viable.
-
No, it would just give the sweaties yet another stat to beat you over the head with if it wasn't up to their particular standards.
-
I miss this your right bring it back
-
Definitely agree, would love to be able to optimize my damage/compare weapons on completions as well as wipes.

20 RepliesAll these comments about how it will encourage scrutiny, or toxicity towards underperforming teammates... You think we need a stats screen to know who isn't lifting as much? We know who can't, won't or don't. Asking for stats isn't to attack those people. It's for people who want to optimize their own damage. It's to have hard proof for the inexperienced, that their LMG isn't as neato as they think it is. It's so people can see in concrete, black and white numbers, what's good and what's bad. Not who. We know who already. Not to mention there's plenty of reasons to have lower DPS than someone else. -Running Div for the whole team? You get a pass. -Running a support super in lieu of damage, so everyone does better? You get a pass. -Running relic/mechanical job? You get a pass. But, when we wipe and you've got less damage than the people listed above? That needs to change! Having numbers helps to say that without simply accusing someone who THINKS they are doing well.
-
6 RepliesI respectfully disagree, I think this would be used to troll and rip on people. You finish the boss, someone looks at DPS and says “ you didn’t do enough damage to him, we could have beat this encounter .0003s faster” then boom you are in orbit.

29 RepliesThis community is too toxic for that. With how often phrases like "hard carry" get thrown around, the tool would be sued for shaming vastly more often than it would be for any5hijt else. If people didn't suck, then yes, absolutely. But in this community? Where people ask Bungo to feed them new lights to farm in PvP and then shaming them when they're is a normalized avticity? Nah dude, that's just another bully tool.
