Titan Mark - Burning Hammer
“Unrelenting, ever burning.”
Throwing hammer kills instantly gives you max stacks roaring flames
Warlock Bond - Bond of the Deep
“The darkest part of the Light is Void”
On a void subclass, hold melee to submerge yourself into the Void for 3 seconds. When you are submerged, you mark any target you can see and regain a little bit of health. Killing marked targets gives you a little bit of melee energy back.
Hunter cloak - On Hawk’s Wings
“I bet you have never seen a Hunter fly.”
Improves in air accuracy. Getting a precision kill while in air gives you a short damage boost. Synergizes with Hawkmoon where getting a precision kill while in air gives you 2 stacks of paracausal shot

4 RepliesOkay, but why class items?

My thought on exotic class items is they should buff an ability for that class and make them anti champion abilities. For example: Titan exotic class buffs powered melees by adding a knock back feature which stuns unstoppables and sends enemies flying backwards if they aren't killed. Hunter exotic class replaces dodge with a forward knife rush attack, that has greater speed and distance (similar to mask of barris but only in a forward direction) and can pierce barrier champions. Attack deals 50 damage in crucible. Warlocks exotic class adds disruption to all grenades which stops ability cooldown for 3 seconds and stuns overloads.
-
Exotic class items should just give longer super duration and a bonus +20 to whatever stat you choose like the aeon gloves feature but with all 6 stats to choose one.
-
in d1 exotic class items were just reputation buffs and that was about it aside from also allowing you to use two exotic armor at once if they do come back at most they would be like their d1 self a rep buff and can also use another exotic armor

Edited by IAGNRG: 6/3/2021 3:59:55 AMI’d prefer life exotics just that are chiefly for cosmetics. Also, holding melee is hard to program, cause content is hard, so probably functional class ability change. Just for future reference.

1 ReplyAs a hunter... No. Just no. We would prefer something USEFUL.

1 ReplyTitan exotic: locked to Middle Tree Sunbreaker, but grants one shot hammers pretty much until death. Definitely gonna be busted. Warlock exotic: works with any void subclass (unless I misread and it'll work with any Warlock subclass) granting increased melee ability regen (strong on Voidwalker, but absolutely busted on Shadebinder, Stormcaller, or Too Tree Dawnblade) and True Sight (just what we need, MORE Wall Hacks). Potentially busted, definitely problematic. Hunter exotic: Oh good, even more jumping Hunters in Crucible. Not busted, but potentially annoying as all Hell. Personally, I'd just stick with them granting us extra XP gains, or increased Catalyst completion rates, or any general passive.

3 RepliesIf exotics class items come back they should all have the perk that lets you put them on with other exotics then have some sort of cosmetic effect like vex particles

Edited by Centaur-1: 6/2/2021 1:10:59 AMNice. I'm still waiting on my sunbreaker exotic set. We should've got a helmet instead of another pair of boots, so I can have a full set(that I technically can't wear). Helmet: ... Arms: Ashen Wake. Chest: Hallowfire Heart. Legs: Phoenix Cradle/Path of Burning Steps. Mark: ... Weapon: Sunshot.

3 RepliesNo, to all of this.

1 ReplyOr an exotic class item that come with the perk “the life exotic” which allows you to wear another exotic amor piece 🤷♂️

2 RepliesAs a hunter main through and through: Hell no.

Titan Mark - Burning Hammer Throwing hammer kills instantly gives you max stacks roaring flames Warlock Bond - Kings Crew (Only works on void) hold melee to turn yourself invisible and move faster (only lasts for 5 seconds). This is definitely an idea…I can’t come up with any reasons why on its face, why Exotic class items wouldn’t work. The only thing I can think of is that class items don’t get stats unless Masterworked. Once you got the item, there’s no point farming for a different roll.
