I don't see how it would be viable to allow Stasis to be the only subclass that has deep level and meaningful upgrades while light subclasses stay underwhelming in comparison. Nerfs to Stasis are cool, but why not redo the subclasses like Kujay? Seems to make plenty of sense to me and you don't have to sacrifice supers.
Appreciate whoever looks at this. this is Kujay's Void example, he has Arc and Solar as well that would be well worth looking at.

Bunch of ideas, absolutely no concept of what implementation would look like, mostly because he won’t be the one doing the work to implement these ideas.

14 RepliesI'll say what I said somewhere else: It's easy to think this is simple to do, but it's really not. We're asking them to comb through years of code and rework it from the ground up. Not to mention we're asking the design team to rework all the light classes, which have gone through several changes already, from the ground up to allow for more customization. This sounds like a very long term project, and I don't think it wise to expect changes like this in a day, a month, or hell, 6 months. This is EASILY a year's worth of work.

Edited by a Chicken Nugget (Adept): 6/1/2021 2:08:39 AMCan we stop referencing YouTubers like Kujay, whose channel is only making these videos. Their suggestions might seem nice, but the power of making them doesn’t outweigh where it is really needed

2 RepliesI'm no dev but I am a player. It is very easy for us to be arm chair devs around here. Kujay has good points but there are systems in place I assume that make it very very difficult to just change certain things without breaking other things.

They said eventually they wanted the light supers to have stasis customization If I remember correctly. I like that idea.

2 RepliesI’ve never been a fan of Kujays Rework videos 🤷🏼♂️ They seem too... simple to me. I’d re-work the -blam!- out of Sentinel!

15 RepliesBungie has said it is far more complicated than it seems at first glance.

The only rework they need is allowing me to swap between the supers and allow me to slot what ever I want from the individual skill trees. With a limit to what can be selected of course. If I want to use the code of the devastator hammer with explosive pyre and sun spots I should be able to do that. If I want blade barrage with some of the perks from bottom tree golden gun, I should be able to do that to. There's a lot of really good synergy that could be created if I could take from each skill tree.

I don’t understand the hate he gets in these forums. Sure he’s playing armchair developer, but his ideas are good and well thought out, imo. They’re just ideas. It’s still up to Bungie to implement them, or not.

Dude Bungie has already said Light subclasses we be reworked into a system like Stasis uses. It was in a twab.

Light subclasses for the next 8 yrs.

None of his ideas has been good or his own.
