How it feels to play Warlock:
Imagine your a Death Eater in Harry Potter but Voldermort keeps breaking your wand
Edited by BoyarD: 5/27/2021 4:33:30 PMDon't worry, the hunter boots are getting nerfed again. The 90% buff isn't intended But why was a support exotic nerfed? It was fine

11 RepliesEdited by michael: 5/27/2021 9:54:18 AMhow it feels to be a warlock main: never have to switch classes because i have the best subclass for add clear, the best defensive subclass, two strong options for dps/burst damage which are only surpassed by thundercrash, and two meta subclasses for pvp

But you get to wear dresses

16 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 5/27/2021 11:02:03 AMWarlock main here. BOTA are my new favorite toy....but they were overpowered, and the change doesn't impact their effectiveness. It just keeps you from continuously SPAMMING it Which, I'm sure, was never their intention to allow. Though I understand your frustration with the clear double standard Bungie has towards Warlocks and their abilities.....and how much faster we get nerfed compared to the other two classes.
-
Top tree dawn has been and remains the strongest subclass in Destiny. The fact that it has maintained its superiority throughout stasis and didn't received a nerf while the other classes did is mind blowing.
-
12 RepliesStasis is released: "Second day of expansion" Nerf warlock Shatter stasis make it useless in pvp PvE We only have a turet that's it. "Gets a good exotic and fun to play" Bungie: "Gorilla screams pushing buttons to nerf everything" Meanwhile... Titans: Almost 2 season most op super with faster speed than flash and more tanki than WW2. With broken af exotics
-
5 RepliesThey are being brought in line with all other class ability changing exotics.

Edited by Sierra0138: 5/27/2021 8:47:58 PMFeels powerfull in pvp but not in any pvp lol

1 ReplyLet me share something with you that might be a bit shocking...

Heyyyyy, Hunters got a slight nerf too!!! We more like (X_~)
-
51 RepliesWarlocks have been reigning strong for a while honestly. I don't see the problem.
but hey at least your class was relevant for a little while
Meanwhile, pretty much all solo runs of high end PvE continue to be done on Warlock

31 RepliesJust going to tell you whine about it. Hunter might be the most played class. But everything about hunters have been nerfed over and over again. See how it feels to have your class nerfed constantly for no reason with bs excuse. Oh your able to throw multiple knives at once and they track. K. Let’s go a head and make some of them none existent lower the tracking and do less damage. Oh you finally have a stick that is decent to get a lot of multi kills. K. Let’s nerf your armor hard and limit how fast you can run oh and for good measure your raiden flux doesn’t help with how long your super is active anymore. Oh also your blocking ability isn’t as good anymore. Oh you have an ability to take away other peoples supers and abilities. K. Well now it barley does what it is suppose to do. Smoke and grenades sucks now. The super do a no impact damage. An invisibility is still a cloak at best. Oh an your little daggers. No super armor and exotic doesn’t help the super anymore and your tracking is gone. Oh you have a super that does close to nine hundred thousand with it’s exotic piece. Yea let’s just go a head and nerf that and make it close to useless. The ice subclass you got me cause I haven’t played and refuse to play. An don’t get me started on the great hunter nerf of destiny 1. Stop complaining and deal with it that warlocks are finally getting the same treatment. Next is the Titans when ever that will be.

How it feels to be a Warlock Main: Be a Subclass slave or not.
-
If you like to cry and moan about everything, and have a victim mentality, then you might be a wahlock main.

4 RepliesDude you guys are crazy. Warlocks are so strong it’s absolutely insane. PVE absolute god tier. PVP the melee is an instan win button literally the best 1v1 tool in the game. You get 4 fragments and it has the most oppressive light subclass for sniping and movement in the game. This whole warlocks get shit on narrative is so wildly incorrect. You will very rarely see raid runs or GMs without at least one warlock. And if it wasn’t for Ursa or the chest you’d see very few titans. 0 need for hunters. Warlocks are the best PVE class in the game and have the largest skill gap in PvP for high level play.
-
It feels great because we get great supers, and tons of use in pvp and pve

4 RepliesEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 5/27/2021 8:30:38 AMFeels really good actually. Shadebinder's amazing, both ice turret <-> rift and melee freeze <-> rift CD refund synergy builds coupled with hedrons and warmind cells are by far my favorite pve builds right now. Was farming master NFs just yesterday like it was a breeze with the ice turret variant, and it's by far my favorite sub for the job outta all the classes. Top tree dawn's the only light sub that can compete more or less equally with stasis subs in pvp. Assemblers are still phenomenal. They still do the role they were designed for, now you just have to wait a little instead of chaining unlimited rifts that heal the entire fireteam back to back to back without restrictions like it wouldnt pose balancing issue at all from encounter design perspective in the future. Build into rift CD refunds intead if you want to get the value outta assemblers. Stack noble rounds for lumina from the previous assembler rift. Use the noble rounds when the rift's done to get the benevolence proc from middle tree dawn that then refunds your rift CD. Use the healing nades for the same effect. Use rift refunding finishers and the void arm mods. Pretty sure you cna find a seasonal mod somewhere that does the same thing. Build into solar elemental well synergies and use the pick ups for the ability CD refunds maybe? Less complaining, more buildcrafting. Warlocks are great.

2 RepliesShouldn't have been nerfed.

2 RepliesThey know how op warlocks can be which is why we are always getting shafted
