Shouldn't the VOG emote be a reward in the raid itself?
The title says it all... it should be in the raid. Not up for money.
Update: Wow guys thank you for the upvotes hopefully Bungie sees this and we see some change in the rewards in the future. Again thank you!

If VoG will come back free, they will milk it in some way via Eververse. And here we are. It's a sign. Learn how to read the signs. Game is empty and they'll milk old recycled content. It's not the same Destiny I signed up for. I used to earn everything via gameplay. This is not it. Did you see what they did to Transmog?...😂😂😂 Milking an old 7 year old content and Transmog is not a game that is getting stronger. It's a game that's getting weaker. It's as if a sign of Desperation. Never felt this before in all my time playing Destiny. It's weak. Weak and Empty! 😂😂😂 Logic!

19 RepliesIMO the loot system should be designed how it was in D1. All the loot should be placed in the games activities so players can grind for it. It's not like Bungie doesn't want anyone to grind because that is what this game is majority about. It's annoying how the hardcore Bungie fans will say "you don't have to buy it". As if anyone is forced to do anything they don't want to do and don't know it's their choice to buy it or not 🙄 What's interesting is some of them think they are shutting a post like this down, and every time they try they fail. There is nothing wrong with any company wanting to make some money because it's a business so it's expected. It's just I know the original Bungie actually gave a flying hoot about their player base more so versus this Bungie that they didn't need to constantly push a shop to make money. In fact, the halo franchise made 5 billion without a shop. Why is that? Think about that for a moment.

Original Chatterwhite shader is missing, and bitterpearl is not pure white. Yet... they found time to make shaders and an emote to monetize it?

1 ReplyThe only reason I will defend bungie for putting the emote behind a pay wall is because everything else in VoG was absolutely free (yes there are also some shaders you can buy too). If VoG was locked behind the season pass I would agree that Bungie is being greedy. But the fact they brought it back for free and the raid does have some of the best guns in the game. I will accept that they put an emote relating to the raid behind a pay wall. I mean it isn’t even a bad deal you get a cool emote and 1,100 silver for $15.

1 ReplyI remember Luke Smith saying that activity-themed loot will only be dropping from the activity itself and not be paywalled in the cash shop. He also mentioned them paywalling hive-themed cosmetics from shadowkeep, saying that was the last time it would happen. Anyone else remembers? I think it was during a director’s cut.

Yeah its a in game item and Bungie told us that those wont be put in EV or silver. See Bungie breaking there promise again like the rest of the store. It really is time to get rid of the cash shop

Even some VoG shaders are only available at Eververse. It'll come the day when completing a raid will only unlock the access to buy the loot from Eververse.

They're also selling a shader for VM and calling it an ornament. (Hint: this is exactly the only reason why you cannot apply shaders to exotics)
