If you’re gonna nerf this Exotic, then nerf Cuirass of the Falling Stars as well.
It’s actually so bullshit that when Titans get their hands on something broken, it’s completely ignored.
But, when Hunters actually get something newer and better, it just gets degraded to shit. I was gonna have Star-Eater Scales as my new main for exotic armour, but I guess I’m stuck with Celestial Nighthawk which I’ll be using for the thousandth -blam!-ing time.
And like—
Cuirass of the Falling Star Base Damage - 451,577
Celestial Nighthawk Base Damage - 276,870
Even the -blam!-ing Warlocks get more DPS than us Hunters.
Geomag Stabilisers Base Damage - 443,950
Really, do you know how damn tedious it’s gonna be to get the full effect of Star-Eater Scales when it’ll take 8 orbs? But oh, Titans and Warlocks have to do -blam!- all but stick on a piece of armour to get huge damage on Supers, while Hunters have to collect 8 damn orbs. 4 was a little annoying… but -blam!-ing 8?!
EDIT: So I’ve actually been made aware that with this change to Star-Eater Scales, each orb we collect gives a 11.25% damage increase instead of the 15% damage increase we used to get.
If this is really true, then collecting 8 orbs will give us a 90% damage increase, or even collecting 6 orbs will give us a 67.5% damage increase. So long as you collect 6 or more orbs, you’ll be doing more damage than what Star-Eater Scales used to do.
