I’ve seen a lot of complaints on the forums and literally have no clue what the issue is. Day 1 is supposed to be a difficult experience so the world’s first isn’t a cake walk which we’ve seen as day 2 the raid is easier than a dungeon.
The mechanics introduced have made encounters that were so boring and monotonous into something engaging and actually require almost everyone to participate rather than leaving people on ads or something.
This is most apparent in the oracles encounter where you have to split the team up to their own positions and communicate which oracles to shoot while avoiding ads in the process. Before it was just shoot oracles, the end.
The gate keeper encounter was most interesting as everyone has a role now. People are constantly doing something in a relay with the relic. I find it fun as it keeps you on the go rather than sitting around with 3 relics like in d1.
And finally, Atheon. This encounter has definitely changed for the better as people on both sides now have jobs rather than just the Oracle team back in d1. Communicating is also very important with the addition of an oracle order to progress the fight. The boss itself is no longer a COMPLETE pushover as he moves constantly while applying a detainment field to keep us on our toes while dealing damage.
Personally I think the d1 version was outdated and needed these changes so I welcome them with open arms, especially since d2 is much easier and has a lot more to abuse when it comes to cheese load outs in raid encounters.

Literally anything that's done in this game is going to piss people off. People always get pissed off during contest mode bc their team isn't skilled enough to operate at low light levels. I highly doubt complaints will continue now that contest is gone. It was the same shit with DSC.
