Of the top 50 finishers there were only two Xbox fire teams no PS teams. How can console players ever compete with instant turn around and 100% accuracy? (Accuracy is a figure of speech but still)
Console players do not have a chance. Of all the raids that have been released since PC, PC players have won every contest that I have searched while console players make up barely 1%.
Bungie should provide separate Raid races. One for Consoles and one for PC.
It's just an unfair advantage for PC players. All in all I have absolutely nothing against PC players. More power to them and Congrats to the winning team.

6 RepliesEdited by Kami-Sama: 5/23/2021 4:23:17 PMYou're forgetting the other side of the argument where all the players that train night and day for a new raid play on PC. If they played on console then we'd probably see more console WFs. IMO theres a good chance the problem is nobody on console are hardcore destiny players and don't care enough to start doing it.

Did this -gamer- really just say "separate the races"?

5 RepliesEdited by SirEman80: 5/23/2021 9:37:05 PMI don’t know about worlds first or anything but after watching some of the streams from pc crowd and Kujay literally mentioning in Aztecross stream that it would a nightmare on contest for console players... I’ll vouch for it being a nightmare on Xbox. It felt bugged. We had strong players with every gun in the game to choose from for builds and after two hours not being able to open the front door... we were done. Everyone there was gear score 1310+ with various arifact levels. I watched pc and then tried to use the exact same build and weapons with hitting crits and all that and it felt like it take 3-5 extra rounds to kill a red bar... red bars were tanking super hits. It was frustrating as crap. It’s one thing to get stuck learning mechanics, but when you are just as powerful as the pc crowd is by the numbers but they get more damage because they’re on pc or it’s tuned differently or whatever... it just feels bad man. I think the top 50 completion numbers bear this out. And by that I mean that the total number of console player attempting a day one completion, not just worlds first, is larger than the pc crowd because the total number of Xbox and PS player together is higher.

Well its obvious bungie prefers the wealthy over the average user
-
I actually agree with this. Very big differences but I honestly feel like even console players are looked down on by gaming industries because it just gets in the way of the things they want to do for pc
-
I’m on PC for a few years now. It’s not even the same game. PC and console should be recognized separately.

In total 250 odd teams on xbox beat the challenge mode and about 750 teams got a day one clear without challenges. About 2500 teams on PC beat the challenge mode. Im hoping that cross play brings the ability to use M + K on xbox so that I can compete without the need to drop a grand on a PC.

In many cases the best players are on PC. I say that as a console player. A lot of it has to do with the fact that last GEN consoles were so abysmally behind the PC version of the game. Now that things have evened out a little bit The best players are reluctant to return now that they have learned and adapted to M and K. Not to mention they’ve invested a lot of money in their PCs by now

PC also has one hell of an lfg server

1 ReplyIf your turn speed and accuracy is what you believe loses teams raid races, you don't understand why teams lose raid races.
-
14 RepliesNo. If they do that they will have to do one for current gen and last gen as well since theres advantages there as well. So every raid we have 3 different worlds first. 18 belts, etc. If your serious about competing get a pc. Thats how it works in competition. Of coursenid be willing to bet that its not the pc but the players that are responsible for the win.
-
4 RepliesHonestly does it really matters lmao ? Besides the best players in d2 tends to go on pc for the overall beyter experience so anyways...eh..
-
9 RepliesIf the top raid teams moved over the console, they would probably still finish near the top. The problem isn't that pc is "easier", it is that the top players all moved to PC.
-
8 RepliesMultiple Xbox teams already cleared it . 👍🏻
-
I disagree entirely. What you are seeing here is correlation, not causation. Those who play Destiny as a life, probably prefer to play it on PC because you are going to have better graphics, load times, easier to communicate, easier stream, etc. The console player base just is more casual. And that's not a knock at all, I play on console and cleared it day 1.
-
the teams doing well on PC were doing well on console. it’s a skill gap thing, not just hardware.
-
Normally I think it isn't as big as an issue as some people think. Yeah, low recoil is definitely a driver here, but that was adjusted. (FoV still males a difference though.) However, this time 4 of my clan mates were on PS4 and myself and one other guy were on PS5. PS5 guys had zero issues. My PS4 friends had constant frame rate drops and got kicked several times, while one even had a overheating issue (may be a broken fan, but still). How is the race supposed to be fair when one side has weights tied to their ankles?
-
2 RepliesBecause on PC the Ikelos sub machine gun is a 28 round sniper with max stability........
-
Probably because most the best players and streamers play PC for unlimited frame rate. I highly doubt it's because is "easier" by any degree large enough to make a 48-2 first clear ratio because of it lol.
-
Lol, no. It’s a race. THAT COUNTS FOR NOTHING IN REAL LIFE. You’re taking this game way too seriously and you’re not even getting paid from it.
-
2 RepliesIt’s a race for a first on a video game. No one in the real world cares, it’s not that serious mate
-
8 RepliesDon’t forget they also handicap us with worse recoil on console for some reason, despite M&K being the easier input method to control recoil on, so if anything the recoil differences should be reversed.
-
Were you close? All right then.

10 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 5/24/2021 4:03:37 PMNo one is forcing me to play on console. If you want to compete for worlds first, play on PC then? Maybe its because many of the highly skilled players upgraded to PC when it launched a while back? Edit: what, only unskilled players moved to pc? Lol. The people that love this game the most and want to play on the best machine possible will move to PC. UncleAimless, sounds like your aim isnt there yet? Maybe work on that for worlds first attempts?
-
Edited by coda-jj: 5/24/2021 12:58:56 PMI don’t mind that the PC gets world first. If it means that much to me, I should buy a PC. However, it would make Day 1 more interesting and bring more hype for the event IMO. Since their are vastly different experiences between the two, I would be down for this idea. Only rule I would implement is, you can’t win worlds first on PC and Console.

UncleAimless You make some valid points and I agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold
