Because of the recent hunter exotic being able to out damage CN, could we get a buff to it? Possibly comparable to the Falling Star, where it’s a extremely strong one time hit. Remove the super gain from the kill, but make it the nuke that it was. Possibly allow it to utilize the Knock em’ Down perk.

It does like 56k less damage but only requires a single shot. As a hunter main i feel its fine as is. I'd rather not have to hot swap armor pieces mid fight. That 56k damage can be done just as fast with weapons after your super in the same amount of time or even faster depending on what boss you are fighting and how good your aim is.

It needs a change/buff but so do a lot of other exotics, Nighthawk will still be used in Grandmaster and that due to it being instant damage with no need to charge up. The Warlock exotic Sanguine Alchemy is in a bigger need of a buff/change as the new boots make it absolute in every way

1 ReplyFrankly, I see the new exotic getting a nerf sometime in the future. Maybe it will take 8 Orbs. Or they'll just change what damage gets increased since apparently weapon damage also goes up for some reason.

The only thing about the helmet that needs a buff is the explosion from the kill. It's fine where it is. SES requires more setting up that isn't practical for higher damage than Celestial.

2 RepliesYou need 4 orbs and fully stacking knock em down to make it better than celestial. I don't think that gives any reason to buff it considering celestial has absolutely no set up and is way easier to use. Remember, with 4 orbs and knock em down, you still need to hit 3 headshots and I remember people complaining about missing celestial or hitting bodyshots.

2 RepliesYou can 1 shot 1 phase strike bosses with immune phases... not sure it needs a buff. https://youtu.be/xSUsASzRvJk Hashladun

Or probably just reward super energy scaling with damage done, now enemies killed, promoting skilled usage, not wasting it on pack on mobs.
