Invisible players (NOT hunter invis) and invisible objects
Playing on Xbox Series X with my clan whom are all playing on Series X we have had multiple problems with models not showing up. Two different players had a problem where no character models loaded, so they could not see there own guns and only saw names above empty space for other players during Override.
We also have found that in the Saber nightfall, at least one of us won't be able to see the crate and wall near the Warsat, while the other two will see them. It has happened to each of us.
I believe these problems are probably related.

Mine has gotten so bad, I can't play crucible. I can't see any targets to shoot and if I did, no cross hairs to see where I'm shooting.

I’m also having this issue. I cannot believe bingo has no fix for this by now.

You guys still having this issue? I returned to Destiny 2 weeks ago and this is happening constantly! I'm on an Xbox Series X.

Pvp has become completely unplayable out of nowhere for me I can't do anything hardly to the point of I'm debating on just uninstalling the game and moving on to a new one

I play with a hard connection with 1gig internet, so I am pretty sure its not my connection. Doing a hard restart "does" fix it temporarily, but it eventually comes back. Sounds like a cache issue, or memory leak issue. Just be nice to have a fix. Been waiting since last year! Bungie... Bungie...

1 ReplyIt's getting ridiculous now, everyday this happens more and more, shaders, player models, guns not loading... You would think with a 70€ price tag and a 10€ every season Bungie would invest in better server hardware.

2 RepliesHas a fix been found for this yet? This seems to be getting worse and worse for me. PVP is basically unplayable (constantly instakilled by god knows who) and PVE is super annoying although technically possible.

Bungie have you not sorted out the invisibility problem yet? I've had it since the start of this season and thought after the last update for Solstice that it had been solved but within a couple if days it's started again. It makes a lot of play very difficult

2 Repliesyup couldn't vault at all to be honest. When I went all invis I basically lost reticle on all weapons and it was like the game didn't even know what weapon i had sounds wrong etc. Just a joke.

Thank God it's not just me. It even affects weapon stats when you don't have it loaded all the way in. My 7th seraph hc loses all stability.

Also happened in Harbinger at the final boss fight after changing my equipped weapons. After changing them none of the weapon models showed up. It did not resolve itself, even after several minutes. Made the game unplayable.

I appear invisible in first person and third person viewing about 50% of my playtime lately. I also see other players invisible and sometimes they are on my fireteam, sometimes just the same lobby. its happening in all game modes of pve and pvp - even players on the other team which makes pvp feel even worse (didn't know it could). There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. sometimes i'll spawn in invisible, then i'll hit a load zone and be visible again, and then randomly during play i'll be invisible again. sometimes dying fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. i wish i could give more specifics but its happening to me randomly and to other players i'm encountering randomly EVERYWHERE pve and pvp. please fix asap

1 ReplyI’m seeing this a lot on PS5 playing Iron Banner. Enemy players are invisible in a way that is clearly not hunter invisibility, but is a failure to load character model. Rather difficult to fight a team of invisibles to get those melee and shotgun kills.

Same issue. pS5. Only affected me. It started yesterday when I was doing harbinger. I’ll remove chroma rush and see if that helps. This game is falling apart

Edited by Hando: 5/21/2021 4:28:47 PMEverytime it happens to me, it's after playing for a while, and it always centers around equipping a Chroma Rush. Either I equipped one, or a fireteam member equipped one. Really Strange. Another issue it's seem to have caused is in SABER, one of my fireteam members consistenly doesn't see the barriers that fall down around the warmind during the defend the warmind part. He can actually shoot and walk through them. It's pretty funny to watch. None of this was happening before season of the splicer dropped. I'm on an Xbox Series X. Hard resetting will fix it usually for a while, but it inevitably comes back.
