Why do so many old people play this game?
Genuine question, I’ve been playing this game for seven years and like 90% of people I lfg or play with are like 30-40 years old and it’s not like I’m a kid I’m 20 but why does destiny attract so many boomers?
Especially those who take smoke breaks every hour like what.

Probably has a lot to do with halo. I'm 34 and grew up playing lots of halo, following bungie's exploits, etc. At least for me, I kinda just followed them to there next game. When this game is in a good spot, there's nothing better. Unfortunately, every since BL, the PvP side of things has been just terrible.

You know, like the ones that were playing the last three decades-worth of consoles. I know you probably wrote this just because of the smoke break thing, it annoys me too, but other generations exist. Have a great day!

But to answer your question, it's more of a camaraderie thing solving the worlds problems while shooting aliens. What more could you want? :) The oldest guy I play with is 78.

It’s a 7 year old franchise. People who are 30’s now were in their mid to late 20’s when it launched.

Lifelong passion for sci-fi and it still the best of the genre out there. Yes it has lots of faults but is till enjoyable and can be played and be fun in so many ways. Age gets everyone in the end and pits stops are just a part of life you can look forward to!
