Am I the only one that feels like the bigger issue regarding these weapons (and ultimately special weapons as a whole) is when players run around the map with these guns exclusively. In scenarios like these, removing quickdraw is essentially useless. Though a lot of players (including myself from time to time) play this way, it almost seems like a crutch for some players. If anything, quickdraw incentivized leading with a primary and switching to a shotgun if things got dicey. I’m not necessarily advocating bringing back quickdraw on these guns, as I understand that quickdraw on shotguns can be frustrating in higher level play. I just personally feel as if the greater problem lies in the use of specials as a “crutch” of sorts.
NOTE: This is just one players personal opinion based on one players personal experience in game. I could very much be blinded by the true issues at hand. This is just my take on the situation.
TLDR: Removing quickdraw won’t remove crutching with shotguns

2 RepliesYou're right and it hasn't. I'm still slaying with Felwinter's as if it never got nerfed. Slideshot + Opening Shot has been a powerful combo since Dust Rock Blues.
