Destiny only ever hits a max rate of around 700kbps, that's less than one meg but the way the internet works its certainly helpful to have more as it'll be less likey to affect you if the rate drops a little. Be clever about it and try to limit any other bandwidth heavy activites while playing, like torrenting or hi-def streaming. Stability is more important than bandwidth really, run regular tests after the first 10 days to get an idea of how consistent your connection is. If it varies wildy then contact your ISP and complain. Why 10 days? ISPs run variable rate stress tests in the first 10-14 days of a new connection. Stretch it as much as possible in this period; stream, play, download etc. as much as you can in the first couple weeks to help get you a higher cap. Avoid wifi, its fine for your mobile phone but its very susceptible to interference and is strongly NOT recommended for online gaming, and with your limited connection you'll want to make the most of it. Portforward your router for Destiny. Thats all I can think of for now, its not the end of the world having speeds like that just hope its stable at least, the benefit of internet in the country is you'll have a low contention ratio: less people using the same area connection. Bungie says you need 1meg up and 1 down but most players say you need at least 5meg each way minimum.
