Overload captains need to calm the teleporting

Seriously it's annoying that you have to land so many shots to stun them but it's even more so when they just constantly teleport ever .5 secs

    • I want them to revert Overload Captains. Rather I want them to revert all Champions. Understand that these aren't run of the mill peon enemy types. They're... gatekeepers. Designed to literally challenge us. But rather than rise to meet that challenge we, what, complained? Pathetic. My enemies should challenge me, not be reduced to your level of incompetence. We need enemies who are worth our time and tactical and critical thinking.

          It literally takes 2 shots from a HC with timed payload or a simple shot with Thorn to stun them Arc grenades and divinity stun instantly GLs debuff them Lament still wrecks them YOU CAN FREEZE THEM I will say this everytime I see trash posts like these. Overloads are SO easy to take out. Learn how to deal with them and instead of coming here and crying

          • Its amazing how the only place that you can stun those fkn humps properly is in DSC or override Master nightfalls & lost sectors takes forever and a day to stun them especially when using an smg The fact that they have no cooldown & constantly teleport is ridiculous.. Definitely the most annoying champion to deal with

            They should have named them MethLoads. Seriously.....teleporting like they're on something. Every guardian think they're gangsta, till the Overload Captains show up.

          • You know once you get in close you can hack them away with light sword attacks right? Once in range, even teleportation doesn’t help. They have no real defense against light sword spam.

            • Overload champions should not have health regen in addition to endless continuous teleports. Pick one or the other Bungie, or tone back both significantly.

                • Seems like Divinity is going to be hugely important this season. At least it allows you to stun from a distance and nearly instantly too. Unfortunately, it’s probably the hardest weapon to attain in the entire game.

                  • This. Why are Overload Captains getting crazy regen and teleporting? Add onto that the fact they also don't always get stunned when you shoot them and it's just dumb. They need to cut the teleporting or tone back the regen. (Also -blam!- barrier servitors being able to make them immune as well).

                  • To be fair, we all complained along time ago about how easily we kill everything, so they introduced the three big baddies into the game each with a special requirement to take them down and all, making it alot harder, I agree with you though, they need to tune that teleporting spam way down or disable regen

                  • This was frustrating me running bugged lost sector yesterday when I was running smg. The ol captain at beginning was messing me up and zipping all over the place. Went to orbit and switched to hand Cannon instead of SMG. Procted captain with hc, swapped to anarchy for 2 shots and back to hc. Much easier.

                    • What others suggest, plus you can use a sword with relentless strikes. keep attacking them with swords and they will not teleport because the infinite slashes will automatically target them and hit them as they move.

                    • I love it when you stun a captain, and they shoot at you anyways and so you stun them again, but the second stun only lasts like .2 seconds.. I love that so much.. mmmm yummy... good stuff.

                      it just doesn’t make sense the fallen are already annoying with the endless rapid fire tracking rounds and you want to put a LAZY IDEA like an anti-barrier servitor that they’ll follow around. As for the overload captains...well you either putting 5 bullets to stun or your entire mag. yeah it’s what makes it a challenge but challenging doesn’t have to be annoying. none of other races are this irritating
