What the heck is going on with PVP??
The matchmaking is horrid almost every single match. You are either getting obliterated or obliterating the other team. Almost every single match is mercied. I’m mostly a PVP player and this is the worst matchmaking I’ve seen in a long time. Idk what button you pushed or forgot to push but please fix this. It isn’t fun and on top of the terrible matchmaking, the stasis is almost unbearable. You are at a disadvantage if you don’t have the subclass on and every two seconds I’m getting frozen. Please fix this!

1 ReplyStasis is pretty much killing it. We need a non stasis PvP mode while they flog their dead horse that is stasis. They're not going to remove it any time soon so the best we can do is get a standalone non stasis PvP mode.

1 ReplyPeer 2 Peer and their netcode is trash. Always gas been. Also there are a lot of folks using the FPS strike pack and Cronus Zen.

It's gotten so bad that I've stopped playing altogether. Really wish that they would introduce freelance crucible, or reintroduce sbmm at the very least. That being said, considering the complete lack of info as it relates to the Crucible, it's clearly not one of Bungie's primary focuses despite their claims about having a "re-newed vision for PvP."

1 ReplyThe 'issue' is that you may be in teams that people are simply focusing on specific kills for quest steps. Vs people who are just grinding IB for tokens. What this creates is a huge issue where the team that has most players who are grinding tokens, are obliterating those grinding quest steps because they arent locked into weapons they may not be the strongest on.

6 RepliesBungie also has an issue with any weapon class competing against hc and shotguns. Anytime a auto, or smg or fusion gets good at beating hc/shotgun it gets nerfed to the ground. Now if you want to go to Legend or flawless your forced to used stasis/hc/shotgun. I do t understand the point in introducing new weapons like pulse, scout, auto when they’re useless against hc’s. The Trials smg is really op but if you don’t have a team your blocked from getting it.

2 RepliesBungie refuse to listen and the reason why matchmaking it is so bad is because of the various YT / Twitch streamers , sweats etc constantly telling lies about CBMM being better than SBMM for PvP .. The current connections are trash and we ended up with toxic cesspit of a crucible because of them ... Best thing to do is to let the streamers know how you feel.. the blame lies with them on this after all they convinced Bungie of the big lie... The likes of Rick Kackis , Houndish , Sweatcicle , Mesa Sean , Ifrostbolt and many others need to be held accountable for the BS they promoted on this issue .. If the lose revenue from their streams maybe they might wake up to what the Destiny community wanted not want the sweatys or elitists wanted ..

Yet no solutions to all this mess from Bungie. I doubt they will fix any of it. Let’s all face it, there’s been no balance in matchmaking for a while now. They aren’t interested and with only 2 maybe 3 max major dlc’s left to rinse this game dry in the next year or so, if they haven’t done so by now, which they haven’t, they are never going to address these issues, now the games in its final years.

9 RepliesHow come I don't get frozen as much as you in PVP. Once or twice a game is all. I'm a spud at PVP, but even I don't get frozen that much. Sounds like an over reach to me.

5 RepliesIt’s the broken Lobby balancing algorithm. They tested a new algorithm a few Iron banners ago but it failed as well. I guess The pandemic really has slowed the team up on fixing these issues. It’s gotten so bad I just started to leave matches that get out of hand.

Please fix this![/quote] Lack of a skill based matchmaking is why fights are either blowouts or a wash incredibly one sided you can thank the streamers and the 1%. Stasis is balanced I'm sorry but 3 nerfs and counters and you still can't combat it is a you problem I use spectral and do just fine. Even if stasis was idiotically removed than are you gonna mob mentality back on the old meta when it comes back? Spectral,dawnblade, arcstrider, striker, and hammers will just be back at the top. Stagnantion and regression for people who have been the same since this game came about. Seems like a fools bargain.

Also another problem I have with it is the power advantages in Iron banner and trials, I remember both game modes took focus and skill. Now if the person is a higher power all that is basically out the window. Not saying it's hard to get power it's just.... it shouldn't be there. Lastly I'm tired of the quests and catalyst that either require a certain amount of kills with a certain weapon or it requires a bunch of multi kills that are hard to nearly impossible to get when you're going against shotguns or stasis. All I can say is they completely ditched the game mode and it wouldn't surprise me if it was removed one day. Nah if they do that they'll lose a ton of players but I mean if they aren't working on it then what's the difference?
