The Telesto and Symmetry exotics do double damage when the Energy Accelerant mod is equipped. The mod states that "Your Dragonfly, Chain Reaction, and Firefly explosions deal more damage." The symmetry scout rifle has the potential to 2 hit in crucible with NO stacks of dynamic charge. It tracks, 2 hits, and requires no skill. Telesto also has the potential to hit from across the map in pvp with ease with double damage. In the meantime, either telesto and symmetry should be disabled, or the seasonal mod should be disabled.

Bet if you looked at the kill history of everyone who is mad at you pointing it out. They might have some things in common with one another 🤔
-
So you are saying we now have a meaningful counter to stasis?
-
disabling things immediately is a knee jerk reaction and takes away any chance to have a bit of fun we can look back on later were any of you here for this? destiny is at its best when the meta runs wild - because it doesn't last and you HAVE to be there for it not to mention symmetry is my favorite exotic and would have been an absolute blast >:(
-
I wish they would leave as is. It still wouldn’t be as broken as felwinter shotgun spam.
-
So you're saying we need to take advantage of the overpoweredness while it's there.
-
Deathbringer, and sunshot explosions too. There's quite a bit of weapons that benefit from this mod.

Edited by Evilman520: 5/16/2021 3:46:37 AMWell it was gonna be fun, trying out these buggy effects in PvE and Raids. Was thinking about trying a Ruinous Orb dunk on a miniboss to see how much damage it would deal. was Thank you, PvP.

Edited by hypershadow51: 5/16/2021 11:22:57 PMTelesto is my favorite pve weapon (87,000 kills) and I really thought these mods were intentional. The artifact convinced me Bungie wanted this to be Season of the Explosions (Grenade, Grenade Launcher, Rocket mods, Firefly mods etc) and when I saw the final column I thought maybe just maybe Telesto wouldn’t be left out. I got to mess with warmind cell builds for the first time and it was awesome. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try out the other perk yet. I’m still going to use my Telesto/ Falling Guillatine loudout no matter what for most pve activities but please Bungie don’t disable the weapon or make none of the cool new mods apply to it. Maybe just balance out the damage increase somehow or at the very least leave it as is for pve so that we can enjoy it even more throughout the season. This is the first time the seasonal artifact has ever spoken to me, and it said, “Telesto, baby”.

Love all the idiots calling him a snitch as if Bungie weren't gonna find out anyway. Hey dumbasses, they literally have access to the weapon usage stats. You think that all of the sudden Telesto usage can skyrocket without Bungie realising that something's up? Or that all of you clowns could find out about it but some random forum post would blow it's cover? Get a grip.

What the hell is wrong with you

... Aannnnd its gone

Okay snitch.

Whistle blower.
-
You’re an idiot for saying this
-
Ok, my bad! Your a hand canon user. Your complaining about weapons being over powered exactly like 120 hand canons.
-
It also affects jellyhorn
-
Only casuals who couldnt be bothered to unlock the mod are crying
-
Nice going, you ruined it. Maybe instead of -blam!- about a seasonal mod so early in the season, get it for yourself first and try it out.
-
nether is risk-runner
-
Good job pointing this out. I’m glad it got disabled for now. We don’t need even more things to delegitimize Crucible. Bummer for PvE though. The mod will be back though.
-
Edited by Night_Fury147: 5/16/2021 3:26:03 AMThe mod is also working on other weapons, such as: -Sunshot -Thunderlord -Graviton Lance -Ruinous Effigy -Polaris Lance -And more
-
Good, it should stay exactly where it is because hand canons didn’t receive the intended nerf so now we actually have a couple weapons to compete against hc’s!
-
What about Polaris Lance? It has FireFly / DragonFly.
-
Hopefully they can disable the weapons or the mod before Trials is finished this weekend and before Iron Banner next week. Crucible is already cancerous enough with Stasis.
-
The mod has been disabled now...thanks
