WTH is calibration data? Just more kills or precision shots?

It's on Step 2 where it Requires 200 Calibration Data Generated in either NF, Gambit, Crucible and defeat combatants using the 77k. Bonus progress for NF Completions and wins in Crucible and Gambit So if you think Step 1 is bad, well Step 2 requires: 200 Calibration Data Generated [w/77k?] 50 Guardian Kills /w C77k 100 Combatants Defeated w/ C77k From what I'm getting for completing Strikes I'm getting 2 per run, so my math is I'll have to do 250 Strikes, till I reach Level 22 on the Season Pass to get the x4 Catalyst Perk.

Yeah the calibration data is all I need for step two. Wasn't sure what it meant
