Look at this clip. I've seen worse than this. First of all it activates while you are in supers when you aren't hitting someone with a "Melee" technically, since you are in your super and all. Second, it does 1/2 of your health across the map a lot of the time, and sometimes it hits you 2x or through a wall. (It has happened a lot to me.) Can you make it chain less distance, do less damage and/or make it only hit like 1 person? Please? (Range is 20m- Update 2.8.0. For reference that is only ~6 meters short of the 3-tap range some 150 handcannons- such as Spare Rations- used to have in their prime.) Free kills/pre-fire like this encourages low-skill gameplay, and it's frustrating to die or get hit by when it's something you didn't do wrong as a player and couldn't have prevented by being a better player- a perk just decides to take 1/2 of your health from across the map and through a wall. Anyone who looks at that clip will see what happens pretty commonly and will see that it's not exactly balanced. I can't imagine this perk is intended to be this extreme when compared to other "exotic perks."

1 ReplyIt works in super because technically they ARE melee hits...just in super. You seriously gonna tell me ramming my knee into your skull isn't a melee? Also I do think it's stupid it chains through walls. This game has like...some of the crappiest designed walls in the game, I swear.

Can we fix pve? Dunemarchers best example of their purpose is in gambit. Your core grind in pve is too weak of which effects other players trying to do their grind/bounties. Mainly due to the free to play aspect and the block to higher power levels. Great for pinnacle pve. PvP, do whatever they want.. dunemarchers may net a cheesy play, but it is not going to make every player a PvP god. Nothing close to something like not forgotten or lunas howl in their prime. As far as the skill aspect... said content creator was using desperado... a PvP only weapon to acquire and one players mistake/death turns that weapon into a melting machine for whoever comes into their line of sight afterwards. It is the exact same thing/example that you put forth. Skill lowering due to something outside of your control. It may take “skill” to get it proc’ed... but still the same point as yours, With dunemarchers you have to put yourself into high risk scenarios to get an effective use out of them. Yes, they should not go through objects... but that chaining example in the video is thrown off by the fov aspect. That distance is not long. Add in any sort pve lag and you can have crazy scenarios with anything in PvP. Especially with chaining abilities. I die behind cover all the time... that is not a me issue, that is the PvP issue. P2P will ALWAYS create crazy scenarios. I am not defending dunemarchers... but merely pointing out that I do believe they do need adjusted for PvP, but pve needs to be adjusted so that the content is as tough as gambit enemies are. This would build up the team to do better things together. This where it makes it difficult to adjust dunemarchers. In gambit and in pinnacle pve, they are perfect for said class.

I agree. It didnt need a buff when they decided to buff it. There are far worse exotics that need changes within the sandbox that are still being overlooked.

The real issue is that it chains off dead bodies and goes through walls, fix that and they’re fine

Please dumb community, think. I’m a titan main and this guy is absolutely right. Dunemarchers chains damage through walls and sometimes it bugs and doubles or TRIPLES the damage it is supposed to do, very often killing someone that has FULL HEALTH.

If we playing like that than give me back my mountaintop and they can have it be landmines still.

6 RepliesIn an unexpected turn of events a Hunter cries for a nerf to Titans. When asked about whether Barkris, Stompees, Dragons Shadow or Revenant in general needs nerfing he stated he also feels that Warlocks are a little too strong.

This sounds like dunemarchers would be ruined in pve.

Dunemarchers are fine.

This is one of the least problematic exotic to date.

Your PFP says all I need to know about you.

You died to dunemarchers once in that video. Sit down bud.

1 ReplyI personally don't mind damage or anything, just fix it going trough walls. Its kinda dumn that I can be standing behind big thick wall and still take damage.
