Everytime I try to create a clan for me and my friends, I get this message:
"Your account does not meet the minimum required Destiny progress or account age to create a new clan."
I cannot find the listed requirements anywhere and would like to know how to fix this or get around this.
Thank you in advance.

Edited by TheHaraamPolice: 4/4/2022 11:46:37 PMHello. The requirements are that your Bungie profile must be at least 30 days old, and have your character do the new light quest and where he reaches the tower.

jan 14/2024 and still cannot make it
-
January 2024, issue still going on.
-
Same I reached the tower but still no
-
I have the same issue. I hope it will get fixed soon. This is stupid.

I had been having this issue (ps4 gamer) , quite a new member... Decided to buy the witch queen dlc and wouldn't you know... I receive a message saying that my game had been upgraded from the "trial game"... After I closed that message I decided to go to the clan page using the mobile app (android) and all of a sudden I was able to make a clan. I guess bungie (as much as I really enjoy destiny 2) have hidden a LOT of content behind paywalls... I haven't seen a SINGLE comment about this specific paywall... I guess a game this good can't be completely free, I get that... But why hide clans behind a pay wall?

I'm having the same issue, I wanted to create a private clan for my family and friends to play together.
-
Same , this should be fixed soon hopefully
-
same to my case man i have restriction so long ago but bungie says no you dont lol but support nonsense is alright its bungi side how shame
-
Bump. Same issue. Opened restriction appeal case ID: 121710 and havent received any further communication on the matter.
-
This still isnt fixed smh
-
The marked answer is clearly not the answer. I have the same problem as described. Bump

Old post, but this is where I was sent when I was trying to fix this. For me the issue was that I transferred from PSN to steam and when I logged into bungie using my old PSN account (even though they are linked) then it let me create the clan.
-
I've literally completed the game, and yet Bungie tells me my account isn't old enough...smh.
-
I still have this issue after months. I've been playing D2 years now.
-
I’m having this issue as well. Just came back to Destiny 2…my old clan was dead so I’m trying to make a new one and it won’t let me set it up for me and my friends playing now.

Edited by Elijah: 10/27/2021 1:14:55 AMI have the same problem, despite being greeted with "4 years on bungie.net" I am told that my account is too new or have not made enough progress but have had Destiny 2 since it was released. This particular post is a few months old now but I am still to find any update on the matter so any help would be greatly appreciated.
