What's the point of owning a seasons pass if there's nothing in it?
Seriously, why did Bungie remove seasonal armour from the pass? It's pretty much the only reason to buy the thing. The seasonal exotics have been mostly uninteresting, and few people use any of them after their season is done, so no one is buying the pass for the exotic. The armour was one of the only things that made the pass worth owning.
Instead, Bungie filled the pass with useless crap we already have too much of. 8 exotic engrams that we already have because the loot pool has dried up? No thanks. Destination materials that we'll end up selling to Spider to make room in our inventory because there are 900 currencies again? Nope.
It's like Bungie's intentionally trying to stop people from paying them for their work.

5 RepliesI get the season pass for the activities that require the season pass. Not for the season pass itself. The amount of people annoyed about this is hilarious to me. "Why aren't armor and cosmetics available from playing the game instead of (eververse/season pass)?" Bungie moves armor from season pass and into the seasonal activity. "What the crap bungie, why'd you move the armor out of the season pass?!"

Because the main thing you're paying for is seasonal content which you cant access without it. The pass is an added reward that guarantees you get something for your time. Bright dust, ascendant shards, emotes, finishers, shaders, emblems, weapons, etc.

I think they're taking it out because it was another thing we were using to aid with the pinnacle climb, and we could help ourselves when we decided.

You're getting nickle and dimed. "It's only 10 dollars, I wipe my ass with 10 dollars" The mentality that Bungie has developed is for you to keep paying and have low expectations.

With the level only going up by 10 I had a feeling they would remove the armour as it helps with the item that is holding you back in level

Lol because it gives you access to the activity where you can get the armor silly, now the armor is more exclusive to season pass owners

There isn’t anything they can add to a season pass that I already don’t have a plethora of, but putting armor drops more in the seasonal activity and placing materials in the pass to upgrade that armor is a pretty good combination.

It's nice to get the high stat set and the level one set but they give us 2 other full sets along the way, imo i'd rather they replace it with useful items or more cosmetics

It's better they are removed tbh. It was getting annoying even as a free player to get the same thing at lower light over and over again.

2 RepliesIt's not that big of a deal. I personally actually really like the change. It gives players who don't play as much some more upgrade materials and incentivises players to play the SEASONAL activity to get the SEASONAL armor instead of somebody going into PvP and cranking out X amount of pass levels for high stat armor. Plus the power cap is only going up by 10 which means if you hit the pinnacle cap this season, the pass armor would be virtually useless. Also, the community was asking for seasonal gear to be mainly acquired from seasonal content so that people would be less pressured to purchase the pass Great change, benefits everybody as a whole by offering more currencies that some might be low on. Plus armor sunsetting is gone, the more hardcore players should by now have high stat armor that will be in use from now until witch queen and beyond. This is a great change, because now you actually have to play the game to get rewards instead of just doing bounties.

Only casual players are using the season pass armor. Any normal player is using other armors with better stats repartition and looks
