I’d honestly wouldn’t play regardless of this system being there or not. I know my place, and I know playing trials would probably kill me regardless. I don’t have any faith in my gunplay, so why the hell should I try a playlist that I shouldn’t be in anyway?

See but that's just it right? There are tons of players who aren't bad at PvP, but when you constantly get rolled by trials gods doing hard carries, recovs, or by cheaters. It isn't fun to beat your head against a brick wall made up of people who play the game as a literal career. Trials is the only top-end content that is practically inaccessible to people who don't play the game at that level of dedication. Raids? Doable. Grandmasters? Doable. Solo flawless dungeons? Doable? Survival? Doable. I did unbroken 2/3 seasons as a solo player. Trials is overturned because the matchmaking is busted. Even decent or good teams stand little chance of regularly going flawless. The time commitment is too heavy, and the likelihood of good rewards for most even then is low at best.

I get to told to commit suicide just playing control. I’d get another comment every time I lost a match of trials from teammates. There’s enough on my plate already. I don’t need more people from a playlist like trials to tell me to go die. I’ve lost enough the last 2 years. No change to trials will ever convince me to try the playlist. I doubt anyone here can convince me even after the trials update coming either next season or the one after.
