Just saying with it being so unique, it’s a shame that since it came out it falls short in PvE and PvP (it can hold its own in gambit I guess).
A lot of people suggest that a catalyst should make it so the malfeasance buff procs on the 3rd shot but I think we all know just how overpowered that would be in PvP.
Instead what if malfeasance stacks last longer on targets. In PvP I often find myself getting a 4 stack on targets and they dip behind cover to regain health, by the time they get all of their health back the malfeasance stacks are gone anyways so the exotic hardly feels unique.
If instead the debuff lasted 7.5-8 seconds OR, if instead of all the debuff going away at once it worked it’s way down (similar to how the biting winds debuff works on you when you go by a lamp in exo simulations). So say after the Normal 5 seconds it takes for the malfeasance x 4 debuff to go away, instead after 5 seconds, 1 stack is lost every second.

We wouldn't need catalysts for exotics if they actually gave them the right love and let them generate orbs from the start. But malfeasance is one of my fav HC, and it def should get one. I have feeling they will, the question is when?

Many weapons have catalysts in the database of the game, like thorn, and malfeasance but they for some reason arent actually in the game

make precision hits stack 1 additional explosion round that explodes for slightly less dmg, enough to require 3 precision hits to get all 5 rounds and kill but not enough that 2 crit 1 body kills

The thing is nuts while charged with light. I think the handling could improve since that would not be game breaking and the fact 180’s are far removed from what they were via range in this game.

Malfeasance is supposed to be a Hand Cannon pseudo Ratking. I love the gun, but it's potential lies in groups, since the detonation counts slugs on target, rater than hits from and individual cannon. The lore for this thing states a firing squad of these babies could surely kill the man with the golden gun

Actually its had one in the data base for a while. It will increase the damage and blast radius of the super combine explosion. They really need to finish adding catalyst for all the Y2 weapons. Wavesplitter could be amazing with a catalyst.

If it's doing well in gambit then it's doing what it was designed to do. I'm 50/50 on it getting a catalyst. Despite what people say, not all exotics need a catalyst. All exotics need orb generation and a kill tracker. Bungo dropped the ball again by giving exotics a catalyst that dont need it. Catalysts were meant to tweak underperforming exotics to bring them up to par with the good ones. Then they went and said "screw it" and started adding it to weapons that were already OP like the Whisper and Outbreak. Now its to the point where each season pass gives us an exotic and a catalyst quest. Why? Why not give us the weapon as intended? Theres no reason to need to get a thousand kills just to use a weapon as it was designed.

That wouldn't be enough. Increased target acquisition and explosion damage would do though. Wouldn't mess with ttk. Would just make it more consistent and deadlier against non guardians.
