Hence why I’m giving some praise to one of the good ones, and asking you to do the same.

  • Got any loot systems you found to be pretty good?

  • Not really. I more enjoy a tiered system. Don’t mock me for this but:
there’s actually a very good shooter on roblox called phantom forces where I love the rank up/ money system
• A tiered system can still count as a loot system, probably. As far as I’m concerned a loot system is just the way the games goes about giving you nee items. How’s it work?

  • Well every time you rank up, you get a new weapon. (Usually the higher the level, the better the weapon is). Every rank up you also get a certain amount of money. With this money you can save up to buy a weapon you wouldn’t normally be able to buy, or an attachment on a weapon you wouldn’t normally have enough experience on that weapon for. I like it a lot, and it still allows me to get high level stuff with no RNG involved.

  • That sounds like it could be pretty fun! I don’t think I’ve ever played a game like that. The only issue I see is a potential lack in build variety. If every player always gets the same weapons at the same levels, their builds might stagnate and all become the same.

  • Well everybody has different levels in the server. It is connection based matchmaking, so you may match against a level 2, or a level 200. (I also forgot to mention there is about 140 different weapons with tons of attachments for each)

  • Well, sounds neat! If I see a game with a similar system I may have to give it a try!
