Is Anarchy, Xenophage and Divinity the only way?
Everyone asks for the same loadout. Otherwise is get kicked or leave the party because you can handle the bad atmosphere and attitude.

I love these weapons but in gambit the match literally has no suspense or any form of competitive game play. Once the primeval is summoned no matter on whose team it's basically a foregone conclusion.

Most of this community is overly toxic. Short answer, no, its not the only way. Long answer, its the easiest way. Most people in this game spend hours and hours trying to find a glitch that will save them 10 minutes a run on something they could just do anyway. Divinity makes things easier to kill, and the others increase damage rate. Less time doing something increases rewards vs time, and causes less fireteam wipes bc people don't want to actually learn how to do a specific encounter. They'd rather cheese it. Any time I see a fireteam requiring a specific gun, I generally pass, even tho I have them all, because odds are good that its probably a toxic fireteam.

I'd say just use what you are comfortable with. There are ways around not using anarchy or div etc. They are great weapons but there are so many viable options now. Div just makes killing champs quicker and easier. Xeno is overrated imo. Rockets are amazing. Especially when paired with the warhead mod. I wouldnt say you need them, they are just good to have as a go to.

Not really. From my experience of 20 something DsC raids before we made our mind at the clan to clear GoS with puzzles for Divinity. Hunter arrow serves the same purpose and the raid shotty serves good against taniks v3.0 You don't really need those weapons, get a team of people that can carry their own and if you fail, try, try and try again.

5 RepliesI 100% get you bro. I once joined a party for a raid and everyone were like master rank on raid report and they were all taking the mik out of one guy who chose to use cloudstrike for DPS. Like come on! Everyone one in the party has met the requirements for the raid clears so i think it should be fair to let them use whatever they choose. People are too hooked on a ‘one phase’ which really hurts the point of raiding. Just play the game, if you don’t get the one phase, who cares? Another 5-10 minutes and your done. People should just let it be. I myself do not hold any problems with someone using a different weapon.

1k is very good too, as are rockets, and many other things but Destiny players don’t like testing weapons DPS because a lot of stuff is good, use what you like and screw those who judge you

Every gm this season i think i ran dmt and a rocket with lasting impression. Use what you want if people ask for certain things ignore them and find another group.

While i dont think its essential i also think if you want to raid put in the minimum effort and get atleast some good dps guns for it. Idc if its toxic or not if you show up to my raid expecting to dps with an auto rifle youre getting the boot and yes this has actually happened

No it's not the only way but why give yourself the headache. In a raid you want to kill your targets as fast as possible because certain raids only allow for a certain amount of damage phases (not the case with all of leviathan gone as a well as scourge of the past)

1 ReplyThese are bad raid team's imo. Any team that I run when we teach I start at the top of what's optimal and work my way down. Yes, I may say "do you have Anarchy? Xeno? Lament? Sleeper? A slug shotgun?" but I'm trying to make your life easier. I'm not gonna make you leave or be toxic. If we have to go all of the way down the list to "do you have a grenade launcher of any kind? Any kind of shotgun? Worldline freaking zero?" I will go there lol.
