My argument is that trials has some of the best armor and weapons in the game and the Grandmasters are just Trials -blam!- cousins that get crappy weapons that no one cares about with no cool armor and is in need of a massive revamp. Let's evaluate the process to get loot for a second. Getting a flawless ticket is rather difficult. Some of the best players in the game can't do a flawless ticket to save thier life. Sure, trials has a End Game bounty and 3 tiers to slowly get rewards over time, but the best armor rolls, the Ascendant Shards and Adept weapons all come from the Flawless. It doesn't change the fact that trials is by far the hardest event to do. Grandmasters can be very hard content and it requires, for the most part, to max out your seasonal level in pinnacles just to participate. Yes, you "might" get an ascendant shard, you "might" even get an Adept weapon, but it's not a guarantee. Grandmasters can be just as hard as trials, at times, but the rewards aren't there. Yes, they are starting to get adept weapons, but let's look at that. A 140 hand cannon in a field where 120s dominate and everything else is trash. A machine gun that will most likely never see the light of day, and the slowest firing auto in the game that again is mostly worthless. Oh, and there isn't any cool looking armor for Grandmasters and if there was it would most likely be boxy and have Vanguard symbols on it 🤢🤮. So, this is a request to revamp the Grandmasters so PvE has something that matters as well. Please give us some cool armor to chase. Something that makes us scream, "wtf, that is cool as hell, I need that right now!" Please give us real weapons that might actually be of use, in PvE or PvP. Maybe a heavy legendary sniper, maybe a cool and useful grenade launcher with micro missile or something that might win champions. Or an Arc 120 hand cannon. Or legendary heavy bow. Or maybe a decent 600 auto or a good submachine gun. Please work with us, because right now, the rewards aren't there.
