How can one destroy anothers ghost in the crucible?

I've heard ideas about this but what would happen if someone destroyed someone's ghost in there?

  • Exile likely. The Vanguard are into exiles as a punishment.

    • It would be murder because Ghosts are sentient beings and It does beg the question of how crime is handled in the world of semi-immortal warriors Can a guardian be put in prison , they would just blow the door off with a super , do they use Gauls technology and suspend there light , do they refer to the iron lords to punish them, because they have experience with evil selfish lightbearers.

      • <How? Same way you'd destroy a drone, just with slightly more force. What would happen? Praxic Order would hunt you down and you'd essentially be an outcast unless it was an accident.>

      • You’d likely be court marshaled, deciding whether or not it was an accidental or intentional, along with your punishment. You’d like get killed rather than exiled, in order to prevent another Yor situation, where a Guardian killer wonders the system freely. If you run instead, it’s likely an agent from the Praxic Order will hunt you down. We know from the Messenger (I think) lore tab that they’ll first offer you redemption, then if that doesn’t work, THE ONLY JUSTICE IS PRAXIC FIRE.

          • How would you kill one? In the newer lore set out by Forsaken (which doesn’t work with other lore, but we aren’t talking about that right now) only a Thorn bullet can destroy a Ghost. What would happen? Well, if it was an accident, you’d probably be exiled from the Vanguard and the Last City. If it was on purpose, like one of the other comments said, The Praxic Order would hunt you down, and kill you. That is, if Shin Malphur didn’t get to you first... .

              • Well, a guardian dies his final death. And you are exiled. Or shaxx can clap your ass. Your choice.

                • At that point you are now a criminal and would most likely get killed alongside your ghost or end up chained and weakened in a prison.
