Transmog Cap Should be Removed for Paid DLC Owners
The title really says it all. I'm so tired of being treated like a F2P player when I've been purchasing DLC for this game since its first title. While we are at it please separate F2P Players from Paid DLC Players in PvP as well to reduce the amount of cheaters we need to deal with all the time. Thanks.

I will not pay until they change something about the game. having to spend more money on top of what players paid for. I dont want to pay 10-60€ For every time a dlc/season comes out. I want it to be a one time purchase and nothing more than that. bungie wants even more money on what players paid. Thats the thing i dont like. 60€ for a game is ok but 60+40+eververse every year is too much. When im buying a game i want the game and not a piece of the game, i want the entire game for a good price.

The cap should definitely be removed for season 15 as that season will last 6 MONTHS due to Witch Queen delay. Only being able to unlock 10 pieces per class over a 6 MONTH period when season 14 you are able to unlock 20 pieces over 3 months is ludicrous.

I’m simply tired of every single thing in the game being time gated. Like literally everything. As a hardcore player for years I wish they would understand the time gating does nothing to affect my play time. God knows how many sets I would Transmog or grind for. But Bungie is guaranteeing they lose me after the cap and when I come back who knows. Same with DLCs. I would grind until my title was done. Instead I play a little, log back on play 30 minutes. Then when it’s done I’m out and we will be back whenever. Here is absolutely nothing wrong with letting players play content at whatever pace they desire. It still takes the same amount of time to get though it.

The majority player base that pay for all content released are who Bungie are targeting now for more money, I assume it'll get worse going forward. The Witch Queen expansion will be the most expensive yet you watch, probably as they can see next gen consoles game prices have increased.

Paying players should have: - less grind requirements; - better overall rewards; - higher overall returns from farming (bright dust, materials, currencies, etc); - lower bright dust prices; - lower silver prices; - exclusive perks and gear; - etc, etc. Why? because Destiny isn't a true F2P game, not until Bungie gives away everything for free, and I mean, really for free, not "free" but with the [i]"you must own XX expansion or YY season to be able to participate in ZZ event/raid/quest/activity"[/i] BS argument. Until that happens, paying customers shouldn't be treated as F2P players because they surely aren't.

Buy the season pass and you get access to Ada's bounties etc. Bungie have to earn a living. The current proposal smacks of a contemptuous cash grab though. They want the best of both worlds. Chinese mobile F2P game transactions and triple A prices for the content.

not just the cap. any kind of grind. i’m not grinding for this. grinding to look how we already looked isn’t an endgame. and i’m so sick of hearing destiny youtubers claim d2 is a “free to play game”. they might get the game free but i’m pretty sure i paid.

They want to treat me like a mtx source for a f2p game?- well I’m going the f2p route after 7 years of paying for content. Btw I never pay for extras in f2p games- just play them until I hit the paywall and delete. Thanks for making it easy for me to not care if I get behind or miss out on anything. Reap what you sow.

You are a number, which means you are a source of profit and nothing else. I don't understand why this is not setting in with the community at this point knowing all the cheap tactics this company has pulled and will continue to pull with the constant false promises. "We are trying to improve the game". Yeah, playing dress-up is "improving the game" 🙄 This game is not being designed with loyal fans in mind at all, it's being designed to make a profit off of the unsuspecting new light players and anyone else willing to throw money at the screen. It's a business, what better way to do that than turning a game into a comedic game to play dress-up?

Although I have absolutely no interest in transmog whatsoever, I have to agree 100% with the OP. As a veteran of 8 years myself, it's a totally plausible request, and the least Bungie could do for all hardened followers of the game.

I'm still not sure where I stand on this whole debate, as there has been no clear reasoning from Bungie. Personally, I think we should be asking for their reasons first-hand for implementing the systems they have done, and then judge them for it afterwards. They may have a perfectly reasonable explanation for the cap. Or, they may not. Well Bungie are now appearing on a lot of YouTube channels normally moaning about EA or the new Avengers game. Only person not complaining about it is Datto what's no surprise as he only thinks of himself and not the community. Also I bet he doesn't have to pay for new Transmog system. Bungie silence shows how poor they care. no really content and only making things for the game to sell micro transactions or silver
